Juju Lewis is committed to USC still. I wonder if that changes if Longstreet does flip.

So what I have read is that it basically came down to

1) Our offense looking run heavy under Kline

2) A younger Marcel Reed coming out of nowhere to take the job with three years of eligibility

3) USC stepping up big on NIL

4) Chance to play closer to home

5) Riley looking like the QB whisperer with lots of Heisman/1st round picks

All makes sense . . . .only issue is that Riley could be fired in the next few years.

What happened to Weigman?

Is O'Neill now QB2

Great mystery . . .something seem to have mentally snapped in the kid after his injuries of last season. He came into the season out shape, lost a lot of his quick read ability, lost a step on his scrambles, and in general was just very jittery and indecisive.

Haynes King was in a similar boat, and did really well by transferring into a new situation with a clean slate. I am guessing that is what will happen here.

Longstreet is a a Cali kid. I’m willing to bet there is another Cade Klubnik type of QB running around Texas somewhere that can be recruited.

Weigman seems to have lost something that both Reed and QB2 O’Neill have right now.

King never lost confidence. He just has a long slow delivery that makes passing in the SEC tough.

Glad to see him doing well at GT, but it’s mostly with his legs.

Haven't watched him play but saw some highlights some time back. It looked like his throwing motion has been greatly cleaned up.

Disagree . . .if you watch his bizarre RPO hesitation in the App State game it was largely a case of sheer indecision. Fisher just overwhelmed the kid.

And yes his throwing motion was whacked out to the extreme but the Ga Tech guys worked on that ASAP. He was just under a bad staff that burned the kid out and he then flourished under a more stable staff after his transfer.

I seriously doubt Marcel Reed is scaring off a 5 star QB

Not too worried. With Reed being an underclassman, and especially with the portal market, I hope the coaches don't take a QB just to take one, and reach for a guy who isn't a take.

Fisher did that sort of thing, let's not do that again. Vandy is showing how Eli Stowers is a good receiving TE.

Also, I'm kinda surprised that the home state doesn't have any highly rated QBs wanting to play for a flagship program.

It’s not a great QB class this year tbh.

I will laugh so hard if we end up flipping USC’s top WR commit and Longstreet has no one to throw to.

Last I checked, we weren’t recruiting Hilson and unless something changed last minute, Hilson is visiting Missouri this weekend.
