Laughable. I like LSU a LOT (have two kids there), but like I've told many of the LSU parents I've met while in BR, Texas will surprise people from year 1 in the SEC. Sark is a way better culture guy than Jimbo and has assembled one of the best staffs in college football. Our lost decade (not our first) post-2008 runner up team was due to Mack's laziness, booster interference, and bad hires. We don't have those problems with Del Conte as the AD.

Do we feel like there is not a competitive balance this year?

Haven’t watched him play, but how can the nation’s #1 OT be considered a future RT?

Most west coast recruitniks don’t think he’s #1 good. It’s a bad class though all around.

Baker’s teammate, Auburn commit Deandre Carter skipped the Georgia game to come visit Austin this weekend. Sounds like it went really well.

I'm a Texas alum with 2 kids at LSU. Completely agree with this post. NIL landscape is a significant advantage to UT but I don't necessarily like the uneven landscape. 100% for players getting paid, but at some point there has to be more regulation for competitive balance alone.

No one had a problem with it when these SEC programs were dropping bags like it was nobodies business. Now that it’s above board Texas is pushing its weight around and those same SEC schools are crying about “fairness”. Complete joke.
