I was wondering why he hasn’t started yet but that makes sense. Dang lots of Qb talent at that school apparently.

I don't get what's so funny about that statement? He's already a high 4 star and has 2 more seasons in high school. He was on the MVP team of the 247 combine recently and was the only qb to do so. His offer list is outstanding as well. So, what's so funny?

He hasn't started a game. He just has elite mechanics, bloodline etc. He really, really passes the eye test. And his pops was really good (albeit on horrible teams). Regardless, you can see LSU has a qb profile now-pro style with good mobility and the son of a coach/qb who understands the position. This is a program-first-LSU stockpiling heady qb's.

Yeah caleb holstein was already a returning starter at his school when he came in as a freshman.
Caleb threw for just under 8000 yards and 90 TD in the 2 years Walker Howard has been in school there. He went 22-4 as starter with a state title. So not much reason to replace him,
Walker gets the top 2 receivers back this year as seniors, 1 of them is Jack Bech one of the better WRs in the state, committed to Vandy right now.

the guy who was asking why isn't he rated high needs to get a grip 2022 is still a long way off. There is only ONE guy on the ENTIRE 247 rankings for 2022 that is a 5 star. These guys have only played their sophomore years of highschool. They need more tape on all of them before the start ranking anyone any high.
edit: Oh and that one 5 star has been CB'd to LSU
