Agreed. Only chance that A&M has is his friend Demas, and Fisher's offense that actually wants to run the football. But the kid is from NS

Clyde Edwards-Helaire
197 carries
1,290 yards
6.5 avg
16 TDs
50 receptions
399 yards
1 TD
1st Team All-SEC

Isiah Spiller
155 Carries
869 yards
5.6 avg
9 TDs
27 Catches
207 yards
0. TDs

So 42 more carries lol. Aggie trying to pretend like they know football is adorable.

Top SEC rusher last year, so yeah.

This year’s O-line sucks and we’ve been on our 2nd string true fish RB all year, so there’s that to consider.

O-line will (should) improve and nothing says we can’t have a top rusher again in the future.

A&M ran the ball 47% of the time, Lsu 48%. The difference is A&M was in a negative game script so much more often than Lsu. We had to pass. You should have been running. Either way I think the argument is silly.

42 more carries puts Spiller at almost the same rushing total as Junior Edwards-Hellaire...as a true freshman. You just played yourself.

Sounds like a solid recruiting pitch to a running back.

Helaire almost doubled your boy up in catches.

But yeah this is a great argument.

“We’re designed fo run the ball but we got our asses whipped so bad that we had to throw it, but not to the running back”

It's good to see this Evans thread followed in the footsteps of the other one.

Where did I say it was a good recruiting pitch. I said it was a dumb argument.

Your boy made a comment that y’all actually run the football. I disproved it.

Tell me again who the SEC's leading rusher was last season.

Let me help you out.

Edwards-Hellaire 2018 and 2019 seasons COMBINED: 343 carries for 1948 yards (5.7 ypc) and 23 TD

Trayveon Williams 2018: 271 carries for 1760 yards (6.5 ypc) and 18 TD

CEH split carries last season.2018 Williams had better totals in comparison to 2019 CEH. but the "combined" part is pointless.

Their single season YPC are identical BTW.

Stop being so sensitive. No one is talking smack. We're discussing recruiting.

Last year, last year, last year, last year.......................all we hear from aTm and UA...........talk about this year if you can avoid throwing up in your mouth about your team!

We have a chance at having a true freshman running back with over 1,000 yards rushing despite a horrific offensive line this season.

This is why I hope y’all land Evans if we don’t. Doesn’t matter how good the back is if your oline is like A&Ms

Lol what the frick does that matter?

Wanna compare him and Leonard Fournette?

You also conveniently left off that Nick Brossette was here last year and ran for over a thousand yards.

Also if I’m not mistaken didn’t Traveyon Williams have like 250 yards vs some tiny Louisiana school and like 270 vs NC State in your bowl?

Sounds like when y’all claimed Myles Garrett was great because he had 5 sacks vs Stephen F Austin
