He’s got a ton of offers, I’d say that’s a good pick up.

I know LSU is killing it in recruiting, but I can't help but think it's going to hurt yall in the long run with how many out of state kids you're taking. There is SO much talent in LA, and you hate to give that talent reasons to leave the state.

Normally I'd agree but the talent this year just isn't all there. Of course we are gonna try and get all the super talented ones, like Burns, Guillory, Roy, Pran, & Boutte. There's no point staying in state when we could get much bigger fish out of state.

You don’t know shite about the talent in Louisiana.

PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Kole Taylor and i am a 6'6" tight end in the class of 2020 that can split out or play as a sixth blocker. My freshman year I started both ways on JV and was a backup on varsity and earned enough playing time to letter. However that was last season and it is behind us and i have very high expectations for myself this season. For example this upcoming season my main goal is be an All-Conference player, I would also like to have over 40 catches and over 750 receiving yards. As for my college goals I would obviously love to go play at a Division I school but I would play at any of the divisions. What makes me different than the other tight end recruits is the versatility I have when playing. I am able to split out as another receiver, run routes and block just like a receiver. Or I am able to be put on the line and down block a defensive end or kick the end out. I take great pride in my academics and take them just as serious if not more serious than football. This year I ended with a 3.7 out of 4 GPA and took two honors classes and a year higher math than the normal. The last thing that I would like to say is that I will work harder than any other player on and off the field and I wont be out worked on the field either.
Very high character kid. Great get for the Tigers!

Those poor high school defenders.
With his frame and receiving ability, he has a lot of potential. Even with space getting tight in this class, I like this addition.

Kid had better be a hard worker because that Louisiana Heat has broken many a kids that signed on at LSU especially kids not from the south. It looks like it will be a few years before kid has enough weight to play in SEC though. Still think its a good pickup.

My evaluation of Pandy's intelligence.
Not bad.
You get an upvote for that.

Not this cycle. FSU and Ole Miss have commits in the top ten. The talent just isn't there for LSU to fill their needs

Also at some point, the wait until the week of signing day, "I'm making a business decision", and sign with someone else while leaving us empty BS has to come to an end. I'm all for recruiting in-state, but if dudes want to take their time and other players from out of state are just as good and not with the game playing, then the coaches have to make a move. I like the fact that there's no more waiting on dudes.
