Nonsense? Its the same couple blowhards who white knight for him in every thread, even on the lsu rb. He's a good high school player who will be completely lost in the mix at a school like alabama. This is all about saban trying to keep a foothold in the monroe area. You're kidding yourselves if you think hes ever a contributor at Alabama.

I can tell you guys know he won't too, Just want to argue and throw lame overused l6u jokes around. Spade is a good player trying to go to the wrong school if he wants to play, bottom line. TCU should have been his choice if he wanted to play.

It's a testament to the talent saban has stockpiled, im not slandering the team, it's a compliment to say bolden would never sniff playing time there. Like i said, good player but you have a roster full of game changers. He's not on that level by any means.

It's hilarious how this is always the narrative, yet we see the opposite happen. I bet no one in their right mind thought Ardarius Stewart would be more of a player than Robert Foster back in 2013. Or a 3-star Joshua Jacobs would be one of the more productive backs last year for Bama.

Slade may or may not work out. To say a versatile guy like that has no shot at starting is asinine. But by all means, you have an agenda to run.

You'll see in due time, again, not a slander to him or your team. He's just not on that high a level, you just have much better players.

We have a walk-on starting at cornerback and he picked off a pass against Florida State that killed any shot they had at a comeback.

You speaking in absolutes about an 18 year old is comical.

Saban also isn't going to offer a scholarship to a kid, in a year he'll take his smallest class at Bama, to "keep a pipeline open."

Think about that for a second. Alabama greyshirted a top 100 recruit last year and you think they're offering a kid a scholarship to help them with players from the same school down the road. Alabama doesn't need to do shite like that in north Louisiana when they already raid it. Bama has turned down 5 stars because the kid was part of a package deal and the other kid wasn't up to Alabama's standard, and that was before we were red shirting five stars, yet here we are offering a kid a scholly under the hopes that WM will churn some five stars in the next few years and that those 5 stars will be swayed by Slade Boldens decision to come to Alabama.

TL;DR- you're not as smart as you think you are and you're just grasping at straws

Yes, he absolutely would. You act like this guy is the first guy he's offered in Louisiana to not keep the pipeline open.

You're so delusional.

LSU fans just have Nick Saban all figured out. Taking recruits he doesn't deem worthy in a limited class on the hope it'll sway a kid in the future. That's how you build a dynasty aye?

Who are those other guys you're referring to? Starting receiver Cam Sims? Starting defensive back Hootie Jones?

Yes, every single kid he's ever offered in Louisiana he feels like will start at Alabama. You're absolutely right

You really dont understand how this recruiting thing works. Saban absolutely keeps a foothold in this state by laying out offers to a lot of different kids each year. No, not every single one of those kids will be bonafide good players at Alabama. Some are just cannon fodder offers to kee[p the interest up in the area. If it's a kid who comes and doesn't contribute for 2-3-4 years, it's no skin off his back, he has 20 some 5- stars and 50 some 4-stars ready to go anyways. He knows this state produces some top end talent and he has major areas of the state he has a presence in he would like to keep and not lose touch with.

Saban keeps a foothold in that state by being Nick Saban. The greatest coach of all time separated by one state from Louisiana, that happened to put the state university back on the map.

He didn't attain that title by offering kids that weren't up to snuff for the sake of "keeping a foothold"

You need a reality check cuz. Saban isn't going to take a lesser player for the sake of having a presence in an area, especially not in a year like this when schollys are so limited

...and continually offering a lot of prospects here each and every year. It's not like a year goes by where he said "meh, not what im looking for this year, i'll pass". Every year you can go back and whether you got only 1 player or 5 players there's a bunch of offers out to Louisiana kids, especially in those "hot" zones for him. He keeps very close contact with a number of schools because he knows about some of the talent they can pump out. If it means offering a borderline guy here and there, so be it, Alabama can easily afford to do it so long as they land the big fish eventually.
