I know :/ we will never have another qb from High school. We should just give in trying at our athletic program and begin to focus on our fantastic academic program

The irony is that your fanbase showed their true colors that weekend.
If Ole Miss didn't matter:
1) Not 1,353,525 butthurt Katy Perry signs at Gameday.
2) No storming the field after you beat them.
3) No acting like you just won a huge rivalry game.
Truth is, we matter to you. And we're going to matter a lot more when a Shreveport native is behind center shredding your retread coordinator defense.
If Ole Miss didn't matter:
1) Not 1,353,525 butthurt Katy Perry signs at Gameday.
2) No storming the field after you beat them.
3) No acting like you just won a huge rivalry game.

No one gave a frick that the actual team was Ole Miss. It was looked at as a potential turning point of the season to beat a Top 10 team. There were lots of question marks at that point and the team needed some positivity because before this game there were a lot of doubters.

Wallace didn't run the correct play. You can see Treadwell wide open on the far sideline...that was the intended play and would have gotten us back into FG position...
