#2 was on TV recently talking about Auburn is like "family". Doesn't sound like a lock.

one of the reasons Tenpenny is rated so high even though he missed last season is that he blew up the SPARQ competition last year in Oregon. He finished second overall as a junior even though he was competing against seniors. The overall winner of the competition was Landon Collins so that should tell you how athletic this kid is. He beat out all of the other 2012 recruits except for Collins. Can you stay stud!!!

A&M is doing some work on the recruiting trail and no sign of LSU. Interesting.

and you still won't be a factor.

OJ Howard is a solid player but he will probably be processed like Philon and Taylor before it's all said and done.

What are you smoking? He's one of the most physical specimens in the state of Alabama for 2013. He could play TE, H-back, OLB, or WR for Alabama.

If commitment means "lock" we would never have "flips" would we?

And Dee Liner is in Tuscaloosa every chance he gets. What's your point?

If you would do a bit of research, you would see how often Alabama has lost a high profile commitment under Nick Saban. You can count them on one hand and have several fingers left.

the point is I wouldn't call either "lock" even though they are committed to a school. They are obviously interested in other schools and candidates to "flip".

I'm sure he looks like the next Cam Newton when he is playing the tough schedule he plays at Autauga Academy. He obviously is afraid to go down the road and play at Prattville where everyone could see how he fairs against players that aren't 5'10 150 pounds and run 5 second 40 yard dashes.

Didn't Keenan Allen flip last year? Craig Sanders the year before that?

I'm ashamed our coaching staff would take his commitment then. Obviously they can't evaluate talent at their own camps.

What's your beef anyway?

found this little article on hogville talking about Tenpenny after the Sparq competition last year
Tenpenny

Found this little nugget in there that I thought funny, "Just like i dont see AT leaving Ar, i dont see LC leaving La. JMO" -meanwhile both are going to be at Alabama.

Like I said, you could count them on one hand. Though I wouldn't put Craig Sanders in the same category with Keenan Allen or Rueben Foster.

Allen was 2 years ago, Sanders 3.

So that's 2, and only 1 highly ranked guy.

ETA: Allen wouldn't have flipped if we would have taken Maynard.

Sanders was kinda shown the door a bit like Justin Thomas was this past year. Not really sure he counts. Keenan Allen was all Bama until he wanted to drag his QB brother along and Bama balked at the extra scholarship.

Just because its happened a few times means it will never happen again? Is that your logic? I'm sure you can count on one hand the players that have flipped under Chizik too.
