I agree with you guys on this. Our coaching staff VERY RARELY says anything good about anything.
My take:
KF will start vs Clemson. Players have praised him since spring.
I don't know what to think about Holland's hair.
The OL is not set. Lots of young talent.
No idea on what to think about our LBs and DBs. Seemed to play well in scrimmage. Can't wait to see Frost play in a real game. He's gonna lay wood on some people. D Line may be pretty good.
I wish there was some information on how well Jake handled the mental aspect of MLB during the scrimmage (did he have the D lined properly. etc)
RB stable may be pretty good this year.

They also rarely say anything bad.
BVG said the practice was sloppy but that was what he expected. To me, thats not a bad statement or a negative connotation as to how the practice went.
Who doesnt want to see more consistency and improvement?

What I meant is that our coaches rarely offer praise during interviews. I think that is the correct mentality to have as coaches.

No one knows what the coaches are thinking. From what I understand he is the starter it just has not been announced. Most insiders are reporting he is taking the majority of practice snaps. I think the coaches are just dragging it out. Why, I don't know.
Naming a starter now doesn't make any difference other than put people on internet message boards at ease. For all we know the coaches have told Kiehl he's the starter.
As was already said, look back at the past 3 years and every year Chizik has said the QB battle is tight, etc, when everyone and their mother knew in 2010 that Cam had the job and everyone knows now that Kiehl has the job. It's just the way Chizik operates, like it or not. You won't get much out of him otherwise, and it really makes no difference because we'll see who the starter is come Sept 1st.

If Mosely is hurt, how big of an idiot does that make Twitter Cam? Although who knows if he could have beat out Wallace.

plus it forces dumbass Dabo to prepare for 2 different quarterbacks.

This. Too bad prepping for Clint takes all of 30 minutes

Well I doubt the Clemson staff is following AU practices closely enough to know Clint has a bum shoulder. I would assume since they probably have film of both qb's, then they are preparing for both.

Twitter Cam was smart. He realized he couldn't throw accurately and bailed ship.

Their film on KF consists of him running and throwing interceptions.
They're gonna be mindfricked when he completes a pass.

Andrew Bone was at Pinson Valley watching practice today and talked with four-star WR Earnest Robinson. Robinson indicated that he would likely take official visits to LSU, Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee and Auburn. Robinson is still very solid to Auburn.
Bone will have an article up at bamavarsity.com later.

Not really anything coming out as of late. As far as the talk about the upcoming year, it's going on in pretty much all the other threads on here.

So you expect to hear the QB's were very inconsistent again at Saturdays scrimmage?

I'm sure we will get something like, "We took some steps forward today. Saw some things we liked and some things we didn't like. We still aren't there yet. Blah blah blah. Etc."
