I hate to add to the AE shitfest but I'm not sure the AE following is the crowd kicking or girlfriend stealing type

OK, then Rohypnol-slipping, boyfriend-stealing then. Point remains the same.

So either the D has really improved, or the O really sucks.

This is why scrimmages mean nothing. Nobody can tell

* The defense got three-and-outs on the first two 1 vs. 1 possessions.

* Onterio McCalebb ran 65 yards for a touchdown on a speed sweep on the third 1 vs. 1 possession.

* Kiehl Frazier had a solid day but missed some open receivers. Looked frustrated with himself at times.

* Freshman quarterback Jonathan Wallace hit Jaylon Denson for 35 yards to set up a field goal.

* Wallace got lots of reps.

* Clint Moseley got reps but threw just once, on a screen pass, in the first half.

* Middle linebacker Jake Holland had a very good day. He had two tackles and broke up a pass on the second series.

* Running back Mike Blakely looked strong running the ball.

* In 1's vs. 1's, the defense forced a punt to start second half

* Linebacker Kris Frost had a huge hit on running back Jovon Robinson.

* Frazier hit wide receiver Sammie Coates for 30 yards on a terrific route and terrific throw early in the second half.

* Wallace hit Denson again in the second half for some 30 yards

Well looks like things haven't changed much..

BVG says overall the defense was "sloppy" with "missed tackles" and "busts in coverage" The secondary was "shoddy" tackling

Dude's a beast, apparently he blasted Mike Blakely in the hole last week and caused a fumble.. they were only in shoulder pads and shorts

Loeffler on Frazier "Inconsistent across the board"

On Wallace "He managed the huddle well, but has to be more consistent"

Chizik "The effort was there, the execution was not"

Nutshell.... QBs will struggle this year. We will run the ball... a lot. D might be better than I think (fingers crossed).

What's going on with Corey Grant? All I've been hearing lately is Blakely

It just sounds like Blakely is the better RB of the two. Grant could be a playmaker on ST though.

He just not that good. The coaches have already hinted that he will mainly help on Special Teams. I don't see him ever really getting much significant PT at RB
