I feel good about him. I think he always liked Auburn, but impulsively decommitted when Gus left. But I think he wants to jump on board before we fill up.
And Autiger4lyfe, why not? Kid is an elite athlete and I'd love to have him at WR or safety

Sounds good for Auburn, so much for waiting.

I wonder if Kearse will play safety. We need them in a bad way.

Kearse made a typo. Next Friday, not Sunday

I am hopeful this does not make the hubris rise. It frightens me a ill now.

I guess because of the way he commited, then de-commited and is now going to commit again..

kind of weird to say but I am not sure I really want him. He seems like a pain in the arse. Decommitted twice so far, said he would take all his visits and commit but now he is going to announce next week.
I would rather take another receiver that isn't such a pain in the arse.

@JakeRoweRivals: Newnan safety and #UGA commit Tray Matthews ( @Trigga_Tray28 ) let me know he will be visiting #Auburn next weekend with his father.
Maybe he will go ahead and flip.

Kearse is listed at 6'4 195 on rivals. Isn't that a bit big to be playing safety?

I expect two big commits in the next 10 days
I am guessing Kearse and Bryant/Green/Matthews?
quote:Meh, Ray Ray Armstrong was around 6'4 225 at safety for Miami before he got kicked off the team. I prefer bigger safeties like that.

Ite, was just wondering...
Think one of those two commitments might be a flip?

I'll take that as a no.

Rivals100 Newnan (Ga.) safety and Georgia commit Tray Matthews will visit Auburn next Saturday with his father, mother, sister and brother. They will watch practice and spend the day, with Matthews possibly spending the night with Reuben Foster and staying until Sunday.

Well, he is from Miami, so I can see why he might want to play close to home.
