Take both Green and Bryant. Id like to see what Bryant could do at safety.

Not a fan of his cutting ability? He has excellent cutting ability. And his short stride allows him to have excellent footwork and quicker cuts. I do agree something about his running style seems a bit different, but it doesn't really bother me.

I just noticed that when he cuts, he doesn't plant his foot and cut, but uses a bunch of really short steps to change direction. It may make it a little easier for defenders to predict when he makes his cuts. Maybe his running style will work just fine, but I'm not a huge fan of it.

Derrick Green

quote:

As for Green, he’s still considering the Tide even with Jones and Tenpenny already on board. “I’m still interested,” he said. “Wherever you go is going to have competition, and you better be ready to compete.” After spending all day Friday in Tuscaloosa, Green left that night for Auburn, where he stayed and visited the campus the next day. The number of schools Green has been to is now up over 10, and he’s not done yet. On Friday, he plans to visit Ohio State for Friday Night Lights, and he’s scheduled to make a return trip to Michigan on Saturday. Earlier this summer, Green narrowed his list from 35 schools to 15, and he plans to cut that list down to 10 by the start of his senior season.

No telling where this guy is gonna go.

No way it's Bama, we aren't gonna take 4 rbs, but if he is just now about to narrow it down to 10 schools sounds like it's gonna be a rollercoaster ride.

It's just hard for me to see Green coming to us. It sounds like Bryant will be making a decision long before Green.

Yeah Bryant is good, wouldn't surprise me if Auburn takes his commitment soon if he's interested.

Seriously, I like where his head is at. He should evaluate everything and choose what is right for him. I would much rather he choose Auburn after an informed decision than jumping school to school and choosing them at the end.

I don't see Auburn messing with any of their recruits. We have limited spots left and have enough talent on the board that is higher than those on the board for PSU to not worry with it.

CH is solid, but the coaches weren't pushing for him to start with, why would they now with 2 guys on board?

Breneman is a 5*. The coaches might like him and may not be going after CH.

His name is Breneman. And if we can get him, I think we'd take him. We have a spot for another TE, as opposed to none for QB, and he's second to only Howard IMO. He remains committed to PSU though, but does say it's a process and that could change

This is how I imagine Chiz and Ted Roof's conversation would look like if it were involving players instead of a playbook.

Ala Wingo at Arky. Btw I know another RB with a peculiar running style. If Bryant can run like him? I want him minus the attitude issues and herb.

I know it's not recruiting related, more like fantasy football related, but do you guys think Auburn has a main back this year or will it be mainly running back by committee?Who is your bet to break away from the pack and be the main back if someone does?I like McCalebb but I've been hearing good things about Corey Grant and Tre Mason.
