There is a slim chance that Addison Russell falls out of the first round. He hasn't traveled around working out for teams like Dahl has. I suppose we could end up with Rucker and Russell on campus, but it's highly unlikely. It's a shame too, because Addison Russell would likely be the best ss in the sec the second he stepped foot on campus.

As a Patriots fan....I'm with u, Lawson.
I thought the same thing when he was with LSU and the Dolphins.
I don't think he's changed his personality/attitude one bit from those days...
but my opinions have totally switched. I can't put 2 fingers on why...

Ok...ok...the end was a little harsh
I just wanted to convey that i don't think he hates Nick Saban...because he's Nick Saban. He hates Saban b/c of where he coaches...
That's all, man. I know...i shouldn't write the number '2' like that..... Not everybody is as forgiving as you though, right?

Nah, many folks despised Nick at LSU, Miami, and Alabama. Saban is a dick, unless he's coaching for you most aren't going to like him most likely. You can very well respect his coaching ability and still dislike him immensely.
And no matter how many titles he wins, I still wouldn't want him as Auburn's coach.

Titles >>>> Morales, sportsmanship, integrity
After you win your titles youcan always do those other things later

If you truly believe that...and you probably do (i don't know you)...then I respect your viewpoint and stance. I see where you are coming from.
I'm probably a homer, but I don't think he's all that bad as a person either. I'm not saying he's perfect...and i think he can improve on his temperament of course....but i wouldn't say he's lowest of the low...a dick...whatever. I've known worse. This is just my opinion... doesn't count for much in the overall scheme of things

Not sure if this was reported or not.
Read he could be a first visit commit. Coaches will take his commitment right away. High on their list. His commitment would cool Dye and Green towards AU. Although AU really only needs just one good big back for 2013 anyway.

David Dahl is a projected 7th-8th round pick
Um no. Dahl is actually projected to possibly go 7th-8th OVERALL. I'm guessing Dahl doesn't make it out of the top 15.
We've got a fighter's chance to get Russell to come to AU. I'll be downright shocked if Dahl ever steps foot on AU's campus. No way he can turn down that kind of $$$$.
MLB offers a whole lot more than $180,000.

Yeah, I've heard we're looking to only take 1 back this year, but I highly doubt we'd turn away Green if he wanted to come here.

Agreed BM said the coaches would take Dye or green as well, but it was unlikely either would commit were Wilkins on board.

who's the best out of the three?
Posted on 6/3/12 at 6:30 pm to UserAU
I don't think one is favored over the other. One might be a little better in one category or another, but overall anyone of them would be a good get. Based on other peoples opinion. I haven't done any comparison myself.
ETA: All 3 are big backs and have speed. 6' or taller. 200+ lbs. sub 4.5 speed.
