I can't recall specifics, but I probably said something along those lines in regards to Cams performance in your spring game 2 years ago.

Yeah, you got me. But the point still remains that I never once discredited Cams ability. Again, check my post history.

I'm really the least confrontational Alabama fan on this site. I don't look for an argument unless I'm provoked, and I haven't been provoked in a while.

I'm trying to bring an unbiased opinion on the available QBs left to this thread.

I really like Rettig, and most of your seasoned posters do as well. I don't get the skepticism.

Thanks dude. I don't intentionally mean to offend anyone, but I guess our fanbases hatred for each other permeates through every encounter.

Is Ulric Jones a "take" for Auburn? He's caused a pretty good discussion in the Bama recruiting thread.

Not at this point.

Later on, possibly.

No. We only want one more DL, and Monty Adams is that DL

With his size I see Jones as a possible OT, DE, and TE. He certainly has the athletic ability to play multiple positions. I just think that if both of the major schools in state pass on him he could go to Troy and turn into the next Osi or Ware. He's that athletic.

TE is the only position I could see us recruiting him for out of those 3. Like I said, we are taking one more DL and have others higher than him. And we will only take 2 or 3 OL this year since we signed 7 last season. And OT is the position we have the most young players at (Robinson, Slade, Miller, Diamond, Young, Leff, Callahan). I just don't see us having a spot for him.

I could see it, but I could also see him not reaching his potential and never being an impact player

Saw what looked like Cassanova McKinzy and Avery Young on campus today. Avery Young looks a lot bigger than his pictures from high school, definitely put on some weight.

Cassanova is massive. He was wearing one of those oversized tshirts and he filled out the whole thing. Just giant looking shoulders and frame. Every bit of the 250 he claims. About time we have some size for ILB

He's probably the guy I'm most excited about from this class. Hopefully he'll start playing early and frequently, because everything I hear about him makes him sound like the real deal. Seems like he's doing all the right things, learning from the right people, eating from the right fast food restaurants, ect.

Also, my friend in the tiger host program said they were with Gimel President and wasn't that big. Height was there but not really, in her words, "football player big" which I believe means that he is going to need to spend a lot of time with Coach Yox getting swoll

That's not surprising, I'd expect all of our line guys, offensive and defensive, to take a redshirt year to put on weight. It's good to know we finally have the depth to do that.

:subjectunrelated:, but I just wanna make sure everyone's seen this:

ETA: I think I saw President outside the transit station today, and if that was him, I definitely agree.

Olsen to Miami (Fl)...

The chances of us missing on all of our top quarterback prospects are rising.

From what I've read I don't think CSL was ever after him that hard. I think Bateman was probably his top choice of those that have expressed interest followed by Buchanon and Rettig with Johnson as a fallback plan.
