How come President wasn't rated higher? I'm pretty sure he was a 3* guy on all the recruiting services, but was a Parade All American. Did he not go to their camps or something?

Is President the new Ladarius Phillips? Phillips, low rated prospect, was hyped up alot before he arrived on campus.

Nero is a relative of mine. He's going to need a lot of help learning techniques. He's play in high school is based purely of athleticism and being bigger than his competition. He's a very raw talent and will need a redshirt year.

No, President was a highly recruited kid that was an all-american, and he has hardly received any hype at all

We weren't planning on offering Phillips, and he had no offers from anyone. He was a fall-back plan.
President was a Parade All-American and had offers from multiple SEC and ACC schools. He wasn't rated very high because he didn't go to many camps, played at a relatively small school, and is a bit of a tweener

Quick Hitter: Not many challenged Lawson during the one-on-one session, he just over-powered the opponents much of the time, but showed speed too. He was outstanding during the drills as well showing great agility.

Yep, and I was probably the only one on AE (before I got banned) saying the kid was never going to play. He played my HS in the playoffs and was the softest 250+ kid I've ever seen. He wasn't even their best player in their backfield. The people hyping him were claiming he was good because he could do a backflip. So stupid...

good question, and we'll have to see what BVG does with our DL this fall to really know... GM played around 245 as a senior, but appears to have the frame to add good weight -- i'll bet he plays around 280.
I think he'll be a hybrid end/tackle kinda player.... keep in mind, AU won't have true NGs anymore, so I think there's a better likelihood President plays inside, especially in passing downs.
And we're obviously hitting the DE position hard this year, after striking out with Williams.... Lawson and Liner are gonna be electric DE combo in the future.
