Keep naming all these recruits you get year after year but if you do not contend who cares.

Won our division and was beating LSU at half in Atlanta. Not bad for a team lacking solid depth pretty much everywhere

And if throwing those names out you think you will upset me because UGA seems to claim some moral vistory beating UA in for their instate recruits you are mistaken. I never get upset about recruiting and UA will always miss more than we get. The nature of recruiting.

Wasn't trying to rub anything in your face. Simply defending taking Harrow. I for one like the kid, and Grantham does too or else he wouldn't have wasted a scholarship on him

Harrow is a good special team player. If that's what Georgia wants, that's what Georgia gets. He could always improve and have a significant role somewhere else.

If we have to play him, we play him. I know he's a kid who has some talent and he'd at least bust his arse. If he gets beat, it's because the guy opposite him was just better. No shame there

I mean it could be a blessing in disguise but most of the time its not. We had Rashad Johnson who was a walk on and he was a beast.

and we've had Veron haynes who cuaght the game winner against UT in 2001 and went on to play for the Steelers. Never count one of the little guys out

If the kid pans out so be it. Heck we have had kids that were stars coming out of HS that now looking back were a wasted scholarship. So it is always hit or miss. Just I gamble and prefer better odds nothing more.

Im just glad we dont do that type of stuff. So let me ask you this. What if RN doesnt go to Clemson do they hold on to his friend? Or did they just get used. Thats my whole thing. What does it say when a kid hasnt even stepped on campus and he is calling the shots.

Well that's the coaches call to make if they think they'll get played. UGA refused to play that game with RN and Kamara, hence we were never a consideration despite being 45 min away.

Dabo, I think, is crazy desperate after that shitshow in Miami to do soething right. I think RN leaves him at the alter for Bama down the line, but Dabo couldn't afford to not do everything he could. UGA and Bama and LSU aren't that desperate

DeMarcus Walker ?@livinglegend_44
I will commit August 3 at a location to be named closer to that date. It will be a day to be remembered, for there can be only one!

Actually, not sure you can find a video of it, but Harrow played lights out in the Kentucky game as well, causing a key fumble. I know you guys will say, oh well, it was against KY, but that was the game that UGA's only had walk-on RBs playing and had quite a few other injuries that really caused havoc. It was also the game that clinched the SEc East for UGA, so yeah, that scholarship offer worked out just fine in my opinion.

considering mcNeil never made it to Athens this week like he was supposed to, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Bama has 2 highly rated TE's on lock down

I see absolutely nothing wrong with using the "buddy system". Georgia has done a great job recruiting in the big scheme of things and I think they are using it to their advantage. However, Alabama doesn't need that strategy because they are looking for a different kind of player... The kind of player that respects the fact that they've earned the opportunity to play and compete for a position at a program that refuses to sacrifice it's evaluation standards for anything. The players that truly want to win a National Championship are so competitive that they understand a championship program can't settle for anything less than the best. Every now and then it works out like Julio/Lester, HCD/Dee Hart, but for the most part it's about finding guys who aren't worried about that stuff and want to win at any cost necessary; including sacrificing relationships and friendships for the greater good of being a champion.
