A couple of years ago the #1 recruit in the Nation chose a team from South Carolina over Alabama. I think it still worked out reasonably well for Alabama. The Clown man would have been a nice addition just as RN could be a nice addition. Whatever he chooses, Bama will still be sitting at or near the top of the pile when December gets here. Winning with him would be good but so would winning without him.

It would absolutely shock me if Clemson was able to land RN. He would draw comparisons to DaQuan Bowers early on I bet. I just can't see it.

It's like choosing between the following options for RN:
1) Be the best defensive player on the best defense on primetime national television
2) Be the only defensive player worth mentioning on a shitty defense. Catch the recap of the game on CSS.

Stop pointing out how it would be an objectively horrible decision. Even if you concede that picking a program like LSU wouldn't have been a horrible decision. Some little shitstain ginger kid might get on your case.
