Wes Britt has a hot wife. Or she was. I can't imagine 6-8 and 5-5 mesh well.

My dad is 6-7 and my mom is 5-5. Seems normal to me.

Some good preemptive butthurt on the Derrick Henry situation from the LSU RB.

He probably won her over because she doesn't like carpet burn on her knees.

So who do y'all think is a better RB, Scarbrough or Fournette? It's a toss up for me.

Great news on Henry. And as expected and predicted, he will delay his announcement to Bammer. RMFT.

The thing is UGA, by virtue of state they are in, can lose out on a dozen top prospects and still sign a top 10 class. That's why I'm hoping Richt is there at least another 10 years.

Racean Thomas, running back from Oxford High School in Ala., is one of the top overall in-state prospects in the class of 2014. Thomas has reeled in several scholarship offers. He recently camped at a couple of SEC schools. Andrew Bone talked with the elite prospect.

quote:

"I just went to camps at Alabama and Auburn," said Racean Thomas. "In July I am going to try to go to Florida and to Tennessee. That's about all I have planned right now.

"I still have offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas and UCLA. Some of the new schools showing interest are Georgia, Texas, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Louisville, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Michigan, Michigan State and Ole Miss."

Thomas attended Alabama's camp last week. He has been to Tuscaloosa several times.

"Alabama was real good," he said. "It was a very competitive camp. There was a lot of competition out there. A lot of guys out there trying to get interest. It was another good experience for me.

'I talked to coach Burns and coach Williams. I talked to coach Saban. I had a good time with him. He said he likes me."

Thomas has the Tide on the short list of favorites.

"I like the coaches there," he said. "They are real good guys. They put a lot of trust into me. They help me on stuff I need help on. They are real good guys."

Thomas has never visited Auburn prior to camp this past weekend. The Tigers also rank high on his list.

"The camp at Auburn was pretty good," he said. "I liked it. It was my first time going down there. I didn't get a chance to go down there during the season. It was a good set up, good environment. I liked the coaches. They helped me out with some things I didn't know.

"I think Auburn is a pretty good school. I like coach Chizik. He talked about the future there. He talked to me about the offensive line they have who will help me out. He talked to me about my grades, and stuff like that."

Oxford High School made it to the semi-finals of the state playoffs last season. Thomas is expected to carry a heavier load this fall.

"Spring practice went good," he said. "We got some guys stronger, and guys getting to know the plays better. Some guys worked really hard. Some guys weren't cut out, so they didn't make it. I'm just trying to get better and trying to help my team get better. I am trying to be a leader."

I was just getting ready to give you props because you told us he would do this prior to the visit.

Off topic:

Alabama seems to be getting serious about tennis too. Hired the associate head coach at USC. They have won the last four national titles.
