I doubt we hear anything on Henry today. I think it will be tomorrow night before it's official.

Aldon Smith 6'4 260lbs 14.0 sacks

No surprise but 5 star commitment Coming tomorrow
The commitment is coming tomorrow...not him.

He said a 5 star commitment is coming. As in, we will get a commitment from a five star tommorrow.

I still wonder if the LSU fans have actually watched his HS film. They play a 3-4. On defense he is either the outside DE with his hand down or some times he is standing up rushing off the end like a Jack. I do not think in any of his highlights does his team play a 4-3. So why all of a sudden would it concern him what formation he would play in. His stats come form the same formation UA plays.

It's pretty great isn't it? This is why I just laugh when they talk about how he would only be a space filler in a 3-4, and a 4-3 is the way to maximize his potential. I think they just assume his HS runs a 4-3.

In their defense, half of the people on the LSUrb probably have to drive their boat 40 miles to get to the nearest public library, and gas isn't cheap. Especially when we are talking about a marine engine.

I wonder where Riley Ferguson is gonna end up? His options have dwindled dramatically in the past month.

Neither Tenn nor Clemson have a QB in this class yet.

Since The B/R is now an accepted source over on the LSU rb, I wonder what they think about this.

Why Saban Will Push Les Miles Out of the SEC

I know, I know...B/R. but it is fun to play their game when you pick and choose what articles are acceptable.

ZOMG!!!!! WHAT A POST! Comes courtesy of the LSU Rec board

quote:

Buc, at some point the word will get out to these kids that little Nicky is a horrible coach to play for. He is despised by his players. He overworks them. Wrings them out for every bit of ability that he can. Seems like a good thing, but what happens when you get to the NFL and that little evil man isn't standing over your shoulder 24/7? Yeah, you underperform in the NFL. CLM's players love him. Saban's players hate him. Don't forget that we know ALL about that soul selling/sucking unethical man.

Funny, I seem to remember all those LSU seniors that "hated" CNS come looking for him after the game in BR when he first came to Alabama. There was ALOT of hate in all those big hugs they gave him.
