I could see that. Probably a safer bet for him there as opposed to playing defense. Taylor would surprise me though.
As for T, we need to seal up O Brown in '14. We could offer immediate PT.

North Carolina's take on Shaun McGee (we offered yesterday):
The Evaluation Period resulted in a North Carolina scholarship offer for Shaun McGee.
The Evaluation Period resulted in a North Carolina scholarship offer for Shaun McGee.
quote:
“Coach [Deke] Adams talked to my coaches before a spring practice,” McGee said. “I talked to Coach Adams and [Larry Fedora] last week, and they offered. But Coach Adams and I have been keeping in contact sincee before then – since that spring practice.
“[Adams and Fedora] were just telling me that they offered me [and] what they saw me playing. They said that they like that I was quick, versatile, strong – they were saying all these good things about me.”
Due to McGee’s versatility, Adams sees McGee, a 6-foot-2, 225-pounder, playing either defensive end or Bandit in UNC’s 4-2-5 defensive scheme. McGee has become accustomed to a similar role the past two seasons for Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood.
“Actually, I play everywhere at my high school,” McGee said. “My primary position is defensive end. But if you look at my highlight tape, I’m never at the same part of the field. I guess that’s what a lot of coaches like about me.”
In total, 21 schools have offered McGee, including Alabama, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, and Virginia. Most are recruiting him as an outside linebacker/defensive end.
In addition to the offer, UNC’s initial interest in McGee led to conversations between Adams and McGee’s mother.
“My family is from [North Carolina] and growing up there that was always one of the schools that were well known,” McGee said. “So we were happy when they offered me. My mom was always keeping in contact with them, because that was a school I was always considering and interested in.”
McGee is more than just considering UNC. He says that if he had to name his top five favorite schools, UNC definitely would be on that list.
McGee’s family is from Sanford, N.C and still has members living in both the Charlotte and Sanford areas. In spite of the proximity, McGee has yet to visit UNC’s campus. He plans to change that soon.
“I plan on [visiting] in the near future,” McGee said. “I don’t have anything scheduled, but I’m trying to visit during the summer.”
McGee camped at Alabama on Monday, where he earned a Crimson Tide scholarship offer, and will attend Florida’s camp this coming weekend.
McGee’s hope is to have his recruitment wrapped up by the end of the summer. His focus, while evaluating schools, is academics, the football program, the environment, and how he connects with the people within the program.

I don't guess there's any chance that Gulledge or Taylor could play LT is there? I think they both did in high school.
I don't think Gulledge started at LT for prattville.

The University of Alabama has several top performers in Tuscaloosa this week for the first camp of the season. The Tide coaching staff is working with big names at the Capstone including a 2015 prospect who is turning heads.

A couple of players who received offers inlcude Shaun McGee, three-star defensive end from Brookwood High School in Snellville, Ga., and Antonio Riles, three-star defensive tackle from Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Ga.
McGee was one of the most impressive prospects on the field Monday and was quickly spotted by Nick Saban. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound prospect was offered by the 2011 BCS National Champions. McGee is recruited as an inside linebacker.
Riles measured 6-foot-4, 271-pounds at the Tide’s camp. He has seen his stock blossom this spring with several scholarship offers. His interest in Alabama has increased after the time spent on campus and earning the new offer. He plans to continue to evaluate his options.
Kendell Beckwith, National 100 defensive end from East Feliciana High School in Clinton, Miss., participated in camp Sunday night and Monday morning. Alabama continues to draw heavy interest from one of the South’s top prospects. He spent a lot of time with Coach Saban following the camp. He is recruited as an outside linebacker. Beckwith travels Tuesday to LSU and Alabama’s biggest competiton.
Altee Tenpenny, National 100 running back from North Little Rock High School in Ark., has returned to 100-percent after suffering a broken ankle during the first game of his junior season. The 6-foot, 205-pounder arrived in Tuscaloosa on Monday. He had a very strong showing day one and showcased why he is one of the top prospects in the country. Tenpenny was invited this past weekend to ‘The Opening’ in Oregon featuring several of the nation’s top athletes.
Alvin Kamara, four-star running back from Norcross High School in Ga., worked out Monday with the staff. He putting on a clinic in the one-one-one drills and continues to impress the coaching staff. Alabama is high on Kamara’s list, and he remains a top priority.
A few underclassmen who are performing extremely well this week include Roderick Taylor, offensive tackle from Calloway High School in Jackson, Miss., and Laurence Jones, safety from Neville High School in Monroe, La.
Taylor camped with Alabama last summer and received an offer from the coaching staff. He returned to Tuscaloosa for the camp and has continued his development as an elite prospect. Alabama is an early favorite for the Magnolia State product.
Jones (6-2, 210), will rank as one of the premier safety prospects in the country. He already has several offers including Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Texas. Jones has early high interest in the Tide.
Rodney Anderson, 2015 running back from Katy High School in Texas, is having a fantastic performance in Tuscaloosa this week. Anderson rushed for 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. Anderson grew up an Alabama fan. He is already receiving a lot of early interest. The Alabama coaching staff has been very impressed with him this week.

Yeah Saint, the draft is in the 3rd round and Winston hasn't been taken. Like I said there was always a lot of hype around him just because he was a dual threat QB that put up decent HS baseball numbers on top of that 6'4 lanky frame. Those people that hype him up dont know shite about baseball. He is nothing more than a mediocre Outfielder, average bat, high 80's to 90 fast ball, with good size. When people hear 90 they stretch it to low 90's and that is not how baseball minds see it. If you throw 90 that means you can hit it when you rare back and throw it as hard as you can, not what you sit at and can consistently hit, not what you top out at. No MLB team would be in their right mind to draft him in the first 10 rounds when you can fly a couple hundred Dominicans in and pay the 500 k minimum wage and hit the jackpot on the next Pujols.

I'm hoping the little fall out they had really put some distance between them. I would like to think we are in a good position to land him. We did lead for the kid for a while and then UGA turned up the heat on him, its not crazy to think we could lead again... so many people had conceded him to UGA. I think Bama is in it... maybe Dixie or The System could provide some insight?

The media is just following orders from CNS. Trying to break the idea that he is a LA kid that can't be reached. Once he signs with Alabama they will then remind LSU he was in their backyard.
