do you expect to see the two alabama commits with ZERO stars obtain any stars?
Chris Nee: All non-ranked commitments will be ranked by week's end for all schools.
Where is Mackensie Alexander going to end up? Take a stand and make a prediction... none of this "here, here, or here" business
Chris Nee: It would be pulled out of thin air. Alexander won't discuss his recruitment during the spring. Word is he wants to play with his brother, a few have now gone after both.
Where do you see Derrick Henry ending up at?
Chris Nee: I still think he sticks with Georgia, despite his flirtation with Alabama and Tennessee.
OJ Howard is the most impressive looking TE I have ever seen at the High School level, is it his position that keeps him from being a top 5 guy. And how good is that other TE that is ranked ahead of him?
Mike Farrell: ever see Kyle Rudolph in person or Greg Olsen? Howard and Breneman are both very, very good! Both in range of five stars which is rare at the position.
Mike, no I havent, when I saw him (OJ Howard) I thought thats a NFL looking TE right there. If you say there are more impressive ones, I believe you, but WOW!
Mike Farrell: he's how the next wave of TEs looks for sure, slot guy with wide receiver athleticism while Breneman is like the old school guys, tall, long and hard to check because he's so big and quick.
chris nee, who do you think will be the next bama comit from the top 100?
Chris Nee: I don't think it will be a Fla. guy. They are in the running with quite a few (Hargreaves, Green, Henry, etc.) but none that seem on the verge. Keith may know one from the Southeast.
keith nighuhr, do yall rank TE as 5 stars, if so, do you think o.j. howard will be one?
Keith Niebuhr: If we feel a TE is good enough we'd give him a 5. OJ is No. 30 overall, and will compete at the upcoming Rivals 5-star Challenge. Let's see how he does there
Is it down to UGA and UF for Tunsil? If so, who has the edge?
Chris Nee: No. Not down to those two. Alabama, LSU, Florida State, and some others also in the picture.
Why no answer on Matthew Thomas and where you think he'll commit? Dumb question or something?
Chris Nee: Answered something along those lines earlier. Miami wants to keep him home, Florida State has him near the top of their board, and Alabama is being greedy and wants a stud from Florida. Those three comprise the top three. Georgia and Louisville also have his attention. If I had to pick one today, I'd lean towards Miami - but he has recently said he'd like to get away.
Give me a early prediction on who will be in the National championship game this coming up season..
Mike Farrell: Two SEC teams
and is there a chance bama lands Vonn Bell also?
Keith Niebuhr: Ty: Really believe Vols are team to beat right now
out of Bama's 3 OL commit, who do you feel has camped the best and which one will make the biggest impact early on?
Keith Niebuhr: Paul: Grant Hill is an animal. He's my pick

Ya Michigan won't be winning 2 national championships. 1 is possible. Michigan fans don't expect what Bama fans do.
This is a perfect example of why 247 owns Rivals.

Adam Gorney: I watched Rettig throw at his high school and he's much bigger and looks great coming off the knee injury. Bateman struggled at the Oakland Elite 11. We like Rettig a bit more.

Nothing against him in that regard, but I doubt he'd heavily consider Bama. I think he wants the offer for the sake of saying he was offered by Bama. Tracy Howard wanted a Bama offer and when he got it, never stepped foot in the state.
I could be wrong, but I don't see him coming to Bama. He's perfect on the hoof for what Saban wants at CB, at least 6 foot and run a 4.5 or better...
And a real ETA:

The grammar of the LSU fan asking about Nkemdiche made me smile...I don't feel shameless

Sources told CBSSports.com that the SEC is expected to announce the league's scheduling opponents for the next 12 years and that the rotating cross division game will be a one-year rotation instead of a two-year home and home rotation.

I thought Bateman was sick and it was very windy. LOL one event. SMH. They are so wishy washy on ratings. One event will make or break a recruits ranking?

I only care what 247 thinks, so it doesn't bother me one bit.

That Rivals chat is complete BS. They said Allen plays off the edge in High School. He will at Alabama as well. Adam Gorney was being straight Retard by trying to associate the position he will play at Bama with the idea of a "stand up" LB.

Does he realize he almost dropped Miami out of his top 5 and are about to get their asses handed to them by the NCAA? I think someone is underrating Alabama's recruiting in Miami. Amari Cooper didn't sip on that kool-aid. Hopefully Matthew Thomas won't either.

You can tell that those analyst are tired of us having the top spot.

Lol at the part where he said we are bein greedy and just want a player from Florida. What a joke. It has nothing to do with us wanting the number 1 OLB and that he is a perfect fit for will and Mack LB.
Posted on 5/29/12 at 8:37 pm to cajunsack
I think many are hesitant to legitimately take Miami out of contention at this point, citing the abruptness of his 180. He may be truthful in not considering Miami heavily anymore, but they to see more proof over time.
Bama's Miami should keep improving, with Jeff Stoutland, Derrick Crudup, Paul Gonnella, and Joe Pannunzio all having varying connections to the Miami area. Gonnella can't do much off campus, but he can at least open a door or two just being on the staff. Same with around the Boston area...

Pretty sure that was a joke, Nee posts a lot on TideSports with a lot of pro Bama info.

The kids on USCs 247 board are getting really excited about Rueben Foster visiting them. It made me laugh. Then one brought up how they beat you for Leonard Williams... I really do wish there was another truly elite program out west... Oregon seems to be slow playing their recruiting.
MagillaGuerilla
I agree with you on Willis... I hope this kid's interest is legit and not just getting cozy with our recent DB success. But I do believe it to be sincere.

I know they are a recruiting lightening rod, but sometimes do they not see that they are just handing out free plane tickets for some recruits?
And I don't even recall LW considering Bama, but I'm glad they kept him out of the SEC. And I know you hate USC, but I have to come out and say I'm quite fond of them. Can't really call myself a fan of them, but I'll watch a game if it's on. I do like certain aspects of USC though.
The PAC12 always has a school that starts looking like they'll be a powerhouse, but them something happens to keep them from reaching that level. Stanford could have been a monster if they had kept Harbaugh, nothing against what Shaw has done so far.

And then saying Bama is "being greedy" about Matthew Thomas

They beat out Auburn, Florida, and FSU for Leonard Williams...

I don't mind that being their opinion, but basing it on seeing 1 compitition and seeing someone throw once in a practice is ridiculous.

Agreed especially when he won 2 others when it wasn't in a damn windstorm and he didn't have a fever
I guess he shouldn't have gone since he already had his spot locked up if he didn't feel well but of course I LOVE the competition
