“I’m going to visit Alabama one more time,” Bateman said. “The last time I visited, my dad wasn’t there for it so he’s going to come back out with me. My mom and Coach Cate will be there too and it will be either that first or second weekend in June.
“I would like to have things narrowed down enough where I’ll be able to make my decision pretty soon after this visit. If things go well at Alabama and it feels right, that could be where I end up. If I like another school better, and I don’t want to name names yet, but if there’s another school that is a better fit for me, I think I’ll know while I’m at Alabama. So that last visit will definitely be big and I’m looking forward to it.”

I read it as he likes us and another school and he's giving us the last shot. But that thing about he knows where he'll go if it's not us worries me

no worries, seems he has been highest on Bama if you read all his comments etc, no surprise with those comments that he is visiting looking to commit sounds like JMHO

This shouldn't be huge news as Bateman has always held he'd return to Tuscaloosa to throw for the staff, but is encouraging from UA's point of view now that those plans are more finite and the visit would make UA the only out of state school that he's visited more than once.
