I'd much rather have him there than Atlanta.

Auburn recruiting scares me about as much as UT's does.

Not with the pro-AU staff at Valley HS. Plus there could be a problem of college eligibility, paying someone to move across a state line & play HS football voids his amateur status.

I don't see why that would be bad for Bama. He's a Bama fan. He's also taken numerous visits to Auburn and will likely return there as well. Lagrange is closer to Auburn than it is to UGA. All in all I don't think it would make that much of a difference. But it would be a good thing as he would be back in the state of Alabama.

Didn't Fanning go to Auburn High before transferring back to Georgia?

So I guess the Hackenberg bashers left?

I can understand the trepidation, but the kid has moved up 90 spots since November. What's up with the shite talking in regards to him moving higher up in the rankings?

He's a gonna be a good one.Not many people are talking about Fanning but we're gonna be hearing him and Pagans name a good bit the next few years. Not many 280+ pound guys out there that look like this

Jonathan Allen Scout Article:

quote:

"I talked to coach Saban on the phone," Jonathan Allen said from Ashburn-Stone Bridge, Va. "Talk about starstruck. I grew up a fan of Nick Saban. He actually is the one who offered me. It was an honor. I was very excited and surprised at the same time.

"Coach Saban talked about the academics. He said 36 football players were on the Academic Honor Roll. He talked about what they expect from me. They are recruiting me as a defensive end.

"I have been keeping in contact with coach Lance Thompson. He is my recruiter. He tells me to make sure I make the right choice for my decision. You have to look at all aspects and find the one that will fit you perfectly.

Allen is leaning on visiting Bama instead of Florida in 2 weeks:

quote:

"Alabama is definitely my No. 1 school," he said. "I grew up an Alabama fan. I was born in Anniston. I moved when I was six months old. It still counts though. We moved a lot because my dad is in the military.

"I have never visited the Alabama campus. In two weeks I plan on either visiting Alabama or Florida. I am leaning towards visiting Alabama though. I will have to check with my dad on the schedule."

Allen reports 16 scholarship offers with recent ones coming from Alabama, Florida and Virginia Tech. He plans to make his college decision before next season.

"Right behind Alabama I like Penn State, Oklahoma, Michigan, N.C. State and Florida," Allen said. "They are all my No. 2 school because it’s really close. Alabama is at the top. Then it’s those schools.

He seems very enamored by Bama. I really would not be surprised to see him commit soon.

I don't doubt it lol

I witness players all the time having to change position due to having gained too much muscle.

I've said too much.
