Seriously?

Well, yeah, seriously. We're not talking his parents. We're talking about his extended family. These people haven't been mentioned, as far as I know, in regard to being involved in his life. It's the adoptive family.

But they're openly pleading for him to go to Mizzou out of nowhere. That's their right, I suppose. But they're doing it for their own reasons. Like most people on here, I'd love for my kids (someday) to play for my alma mater. But if their hearts told them LSU/Bama/UT/Whatever, I'd be supportive.

And hey, it'd stink a lot less if this family was supporting him all along and not just the last couple of years. I honestly don't know the answer to that question. But I do know non-family members had to take he and his brother in and adopt them. Where was his extended family then?

No one knows what his family is saying to him. By all accounts it appears they want him to make the best decision for himself. Just because you read on a forum or from some "expert" that reads forums and tweets about his amazing find doesn't mean its true.

I get that and all, but there's nothing wrong with them telling him to play for the home state team IMO.

I have no problem with it. He knows it's his decision either way.

I think he would get more attn at AR than Mizzou though. Petrino's offense is perfect for him.

Doesn't mean it isn't true, either. I hope they're wrong, believe me. But the extended family had never been mentioned until this weekend. All of a sudden DGB has a, supposed, change of heart. So if they really did come on his OV with him, decked out in Mizzou shite and cheering for Mizzou, I could see why he would change his mind all of the sudden.

He wouldn't want to let his family down. Signs of a great kid, no doubt. I just hope this family has been around for him and it's not just the other way around.

I think the difference between Arkansas and Mizzou the next few seasons will be the difference between playing in a Cotton or Outback (maybe) vs playing in a BCS Bowl.

He'll get to run a helluva lot more tunnel screens at Mizzou.

Wayyyyyy too many Arkansas insiders saying it's not looking good. I'm considering him a Mizzou lock. I have 2 days to fully grieve.

Besides Dudley and a couple of others on Rivals saying it "doesn't look good". Look, I'm not a Negative Nancy but I'm preparing for the worst. You deal with it how you want to.
