still a good pickup. I dont think he was a take for LSU but

-big kid with tons of room to grow

-tons of pop with the bat, needs to clean up some things, especially with approach and swing decision

- tons of potential to get to mid 90s on the bump if he gets past injury history

Im not going to hide it, i love JD. He is a really good kid and person and for me that is way bigger than baseball. Comes from a great family.

as far as baseball...he has to learn to be tougher, has to learn a position and actually embrace that

even though its committing to a school I dont really care for I am so happy for him. No matter what if he sticks it out, he will get a very top notch education that will set him up for success and he is goign to a place that is very very good at developing players.
