Merlin was smoke and mirrors. They almost always had 4 G5 OOCs and Kentucky mostly stunk while he was there. He started off every year w/5 games that were all but automatic wins.

As an Aggie I’m a little envious of MSU’s position here. You can take your time, evaluate talent and im betting you will get a young up and coming coach with energy, fire and hunger who can really do some things here. Where as we will throw money as some guy who had success once with an all world QB that had them feeling like they hit a triple while being born in third.
