The latest I can remember was the 2001 Tennessee game which kicked off around 8PM but that was due to a delay caused by lightning. Tonight's game at Utah, 9:15 CT, 8:15 in Utah is an actual scheduled time.

I think Texas has played a few 8:00 or 8:30 starts for bowl games on the west coast that's 10:00 or 10:30 Central time.

Alabama played ole Miss in a conference game back in 2015 with an 8:15 kick. I swear that game didn't even start until 8:45 CST
Plenty of later west coast kicks. But seems like for the local time zones that 8:14-8:45 is the last window unless weather delays etc

If you got tickets and are going, tailgating sucks in Utah, but Rice-Eccles is a very nice stadium, especially if you are sitting on the western side. You get a beautiful view of the Wasatch. The crowd is also very lively, but friendly.
A smaller venue, but one I recommend.

A&M played Houston in the Astrodome in 1980. Problem was that the Astros made the playoffs for the first time in their history, and were the prime tenants. Astros hosted the Phillies in the afternoon, then the stadium had to be converted for football. The game kicked off at 11:33 pm.

I think when Ole Miss went out and played Cal a few years back it was a 8PM kick out there.

The latest I can recall was going to ole miss in 06 which kicked off at 915 Eastern. I'm sure there's probably later though
