Probably wouldn't make much of a significant difference either way.

Connor Shaw is actually a badass. People think of him as being a scruffy blue collar scrambler, which he is, but his passing efficiency is approaching upper echelon. He is JFF Light.

Clowney isn't the guy that scares me in the second game of the season. Shaw scares me.

I'll take AJ all day. He'd have to do something about those tats though.

I bet there are a couple tattoo artists in BR that could turn it into a Mike the tiger logo.

Not exactly sure why, but this one struck me as the perfect fit.

Add James Franco and Riff Raff to the mix and you could name your price, I'd be there

James Franklin, Drew Brees, Connor Shaw, The Dick brothers,Tommy Kramer etc are all former Texas High School QB's that were not deemed worthy of scholly's at tu or Texas A&M (exception was Shaw, but he read the handwriting on the wall and got out of Texas).

Too many good QB's in this state and not enough teams.

Franklin would be a slight downgrade to JFF but who isn't?

Doesn't fit Malzahn's system but is talented enough to bring us 9 wins with a 10th in the bowl.

Good luck with a 7 win season UGA. I am not saying you are not talented enough to survive without a great QB, I am saying Kiehl Frazier is bad enough to lose you games

I guess I disagree here. I think we go something like 8-4 and AJ puts up huge numbers because of superior coaching. Gets labeled a system QB, etc and compared to guys like Graham Harrell, which is probably a pretty good comparison in terms of talent

Holy crap I never thought of Graham Harrell. That is pretty much exactly who AJ is.
