You've never heard of Dante Hall? Are you 14? He's one of the best return men in NFL history

1)Deuce McAllister
2)Kayo Dottley
3)Dou Innocent
4)John Avery
5)Brandon Bolden

Joe Gunn and BJGE tied for 6th. Would love to put Dex up there as well, but he had too much time at receiver to put up the stats.

I think alot of people have forgotten or never seen Dou Innocent run, but he was a heck of a back. A little like Deuce, but bigger. John Avery only played two years for Ole Miss, but was absolutely electric.

I don't know how he puts Darren Lewis above our only Heisman winner at RB either. Crow has to be No.1 on this list.

He switched to WR in the pro. He was kind of like McCluster in college but played more TB

1. Trent Richardson
2. Shaun Alexander
3. Mark Ingram (though I think Lacy is better, Mark is higher on this sort of list)
4. Eddie Lacy
5. Bobby Humphrey

He was also horribly underutilized by R.C. Slocum while I was in school (Sirr Parker and Chris Taylor were our return men).

We have too many great ones to make a consensus top 5 list IMO. Maybe top 10.

I would probably go:

1. Bo Jackson
2. Stephen Davis
3. Tucker Fredrickson
4. Carnell Williams
5. Brent Fullwood
6. James Brooks
7. Joe Cribbs
8. Ben Tate
9. Rudi Johnson
10. Ronnie Brown

That still leaves off James Joseph, Stacy Danley, Bradon Jacobs (who didn't play enough really), Kenny Irons, Lionel James, Tommie Agge, and James Bostic.

And just to point out how damn strong that top ten is, #1-#6 were all first round draft picks with 2 guys selected #1 overall.

Hell, Brooks went to multiple pro-bowls, was the Bengals all time rushing and total yards leader and is in the top 30 all time in the NFL in total yards still today. 15,000 total yards and 70 TDs.

Cribbs was a 3 time probowler, NFL ROY, and had multiple 1,000 yard season including 1200 as a rookie in the NFL before going to the USFL.

And Ronnie Brown at #10? The #2 pick in the NFL draft? Yep. The list is just that damn strong with 8 first round NFL draft picks, two #1 overall and a #2.

I would have to say, either Auburn or Georgia would be crowned RBU

I'd take Humphrey, Lacy, and Dennis Riddle over Ingram.

Hell, at this point, I'd take Yeldon too.

How does Georgia even compete?

We have too much depth. As pointed above, barely cracking the top ten and never earning the starting position overall was the #2 pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
