I know a lot of LSU fans though. Some people wanted him gone after the Ole Miss and Tennessee debacles, but those were in situations where it looked like the program might be going downhill, it's pretty obvious now that isn't the case and I haven't heard even one peep of negativity about Miles this season. This fan base isn't going to go from zero to fire his arse in one game against the #2 team on the road. It's just not going to happen.

Well don't consider me part of that crowd...after all he's no dan mullen...now that guy can stay there forever as far as i'm concerned.

I don't think it's neither tired nor old. Although some did, not nearly enough people who were more than willing to can him early last year have been man enough to admit they were mistaken.

I've always thought Les Miles was doing a fantastic job. When the idiots at Michigan chose not to pursue him, I thought they were... ummm... idiots.
Hell, I was a bigger fan of Les Miles than many *LSU* fans were last year.

There aren't many times I thank the national sports media, but this was certainly one of them. They had everyone convinced Miles was a moron, to the point that half of the Michigan decision makers were dead set against hiring him. Thank you very much!

I'm not saying you were part of the crowd, but between '05 and '07, yes including the NC year, all the haters would claim LM was Coker 2.0 and LSU was going down the drain after Saban's guys graduated. Miles' teams had no discipline, etc etc. Then during 08 and 09, it was "see, I told you so".

The entire Rant was filled with LSU posters calling him every name in the book, including Larry Coker 2.0, but it wasn't Bama fans doing it after Saban was hired. no more than some bama fans would want nicky fired if they lose. Its time for tiger fans to realize that we do have a great coach that is gaining more experience each year. He run a great program and i am just as proud to have Mils as our coach as i was Nick Saban

but um... Chicken had to create the SEC Rant because the Tiger Rant was flooded with Bama fans calling Miles "Coker 2.0" and asking us if we were jealous.

Were you participating on this board for during the '08 & '09 seasons?
IIRC, and I'm not fricking looking it up, Miles addressed the LSU fans discord with him during a press conference during at least one of those seasons. In fact in think it was '09 and LSU was 5-0 at the time and Miles said he was proud of this team for being 5-0 even if the LSU fans didn't recognize and appreciate it....
Don't act like that shite didn't happen.
