Fournette is #1, but Mcafferey has been really impressive.

You're using 400 more total yards to claim McCaffery is "better" or "more valuable" While ignoring Fournette has 7 more TDs.
That's the definition of ignorant bud.

LF (LSU)
Henry (bama)
Watson (Clemson)
Lynch (Memphis)
LSU schedule is about to get a lot tougher. Will be interesting to see if LF can keep it up. I don't think he can, but if he does he certainly deserves it.

Yeah, you aren't trolling.
A guy with 400 more total yards but 7 fewer total TDs is better. Right.
fricking Christ man stats are not the entire story and anyone who knows football would know that. Unlike Fournette, McCaffrey doesn't have to be the whole offense. If he did have to be, he'd have even more ridiculous yardage and more TDs.
Stanford actually spreads the ball around and has 6 receivers with triple digit yards and 8 receivers with a TD. LSU has 2 receivers in triple digits and 3 receivers with TDs. Fournette is LSU's only short yardage TD option. Stanford spreads it out between McCaffrey, Sanders and Wright.
Fournette is LSU's only option in a lot of situations, so he gets all of the action. Stanford has more options, but McCaffrey is STILL putting up the yards that he is. That's why I think he's the best. I'm not fricking trolling so go cry to someone else.

funny shite, but opposing fans call LSU Leonard U, and 1 dimensional, Fornette being the 1 dimension. Just rattle off random shite to meet your stupid agenda.
So because a few posters call Lsu that, it means everyone believes that? Is that what you're implying?
What's my agenda?
I'm simply discussing "your Heisman ballot" . by posting an opinion on multiple players and how they may or may not deserve to be #1, using their stats, how they impact their teams overall record and how good in think they are playing. I've also said there is plenty more time in the season for players to seperate, emerge or fall out of the race.
What's funny is Lsu fans insisting that lf is the only choice and is just light years ahead of every other player and if you don't agree with their group think then you're a flaming troll or have some agenda, I assume to somehow hurt Lsu fans feelings by not crowning their boy.

Players in contention:
Leonard Fournette
Christian McCaffrey
Zeke Elliot
Josh Doctson
Corey Coleman
Dalvin Cook
Derrick Henry
Trevone Boykin
Dak Prescott
Darkhorse: Peyton Barber (he won't win it, and Auburn's schedule will keep him from the Heisman ceremony, but he has been the heart of Auburn's offense and his stats at the end of the year might warrant him some talk).

Yeah, as stated, McCaffrey is pulled for another back in short yardage situations.

It's Fournette's to lose at this point.

Or maybe I'm using those 7tds to keep LF a very close 2nd as the most Outstanding player as it relates to the Heisman. If we were discussing the Doak Walker award for best RB and was using McCaffreys APY then that would be ignorant and would be moving goal post. BUT this isn't the who is the best RB award.
LF is the best RB and quit possible the best over all player in all of CF. Doesn't mean he is the best choice for the Heisman.
Not that this has anything to do with what we're discussing but do you think LF would be drafted as the #1 overall pick in this year's NFL draft?

1200 yards from scrimmage and 8 TDs. The only way you think this makes him better than LF is if you're, literally, retarded.
I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by calling you a troll.

I call Fournette the 2nd best player in the country by a close margin and far ahead of the 3rd best player, and am immediately called a troll with an anti-LSU agenda by your sensitive bitch arse. GFY

So, to you, the only thing that makes McCaffery better is that he returns kick offs?
Thats your only argument at this point.

Past Heisman winners have had kick returner stats in their resume'.

Sure.
I just think it's hilarious some people think McCaffery's 400 more all-purpose yards somehow trump Fournette 7 more TDs. No rational person on the planet would actually believe that.

The only pathetic person in the thread is you. Trying to claim a a player who's been throughly out-performed by Fournette in every metric, other than all-purpose yards, as better.
Now you're getting butthurt because you're troll is weak shite and getting blown up in your face.
Like I said earlier, find a new schtick.

I hate the whole "best offensive player in the best teams" deal that the Heisman has become. It's a joke.
If any player on Bama should be a candidate it's Ragland.

LF should win it...barring injury, the only possible way I see him not winning would be the following scenario:
LSU loses a couple of games and is out of the SECCG/play-off picture. TCU runs the table and Trevone Boykin continues to put up huge numbers and has a Heisman moment in leading TCU past either Oklahoma and/or Baylor. TCU makes the play-off...
If LF continues the rest of the season anywhere near the pace he's at, personally, I think he should win it no matter what. But the Heisman voters love flashy QBs on undefeated/championship teams and I think Boykin is the only QB that could possibly fit that mold this season...Deshaun Watson could lead Clemson to an undefeated season and the play-offs, but he doesn't have the numbers and the same with Connor Cook...if JT Barrett had started off the season at QB, he might've been a threat...Dalvin Cook's having an impressive year but he plays the same position as LF and won't stand up in comparison...a couple of WRs are puttin' up PlayStation numbers, but WRs don't usually do well in Heisman voting and they won't be a threat to Fournette...
Ultimately, I think it's a 2-man race, LF and Boykin...but it'll take a perfect storm for Boykin to win it over Fournette...
