He sure did. Refs blew that one.

I know this pic is like a holy relic for you personally, but you DO know there's actual video of the play out there, don't you?
Here's the play in slow mo. Tell me again after watching it that 'the refs blew it':

Brown's right foot clearly leaves the ground before he catches the ball. His left foot lands on the end line.
Here's another angle, in case there's any doubt:

Now imagine if the current replay rules been in affect back then. In all honesty, can you make the claim that the replay officials would have overturned the ruling on the field based on the video evidence?
Watch it for yourself if you're still not convinced
Listen to the announcers comments. Better still, watch the reaction from the Bama players and coaches. Do they look like they thought Brown scored? Did Brown himself act like he thought he scored?
Let it go, man.
ETA: Sorry for the thread hijack. This Bama revisionist history shite just pisses me off.

Danny Wuerffel. Also liked Shane Matthews.
Despised Peyton Manning in college, his SNL gig changed all of that. The dude is hilarious.

It's not like it matters at this point, but the videos clearly show that he made that catch while his foot was still touching the ground.
However, that would have been an EXTREMELY hard call to make either way by the refs with out instant replay challenging. Can't really blame them.

Connor Shaw with Fitz fast approaching

That is 100% a catch by today's standards. Full control of the football while a foot is inbounds. Not sure what else you want. The picture shows it clearly.

I'll go with Peyton followed by Eli.
If I hold my nose really tight I can almost say Tebow.

Danny Wuerffel. I've never seen a QB take more abuse and keep getting back up.Several times, I thought for sure he was injured. He wasn't the most exciting QB but godam he was tough.

Murray was pretty tough himself for a guy that wasn't that big. He would lower his head on occasion, I'm fairly certain that Richt told him to cool his jets.

Murray is my favorite UGA QB.
