DL - Jordan Davis 6'6 330, will be a disruptive force if he stays conditioned.

LB - Nakobe Dean (Roquan potential)

CB - Eric Stokes (Proved he's more than just a track star)

S - Richard Lecount SR.

Best returner at ILB is Monte Rice. Ojulari may also be ahead of Nakobe in terms if linebacker. Dean is going to be great. But he got abused in the SECCG by Burrow.

If going by talent
DL Travon Walker
LB Nolan Smith
DB Tyreque Stevenson

Really weird thread to start, but we were returning the best LB in the country so that’s fun.

Not sure why he wouldn’t be, it was just an acl injury

Top 50 overall recruit that played a lot as a freshman from arguably the best high school program in the country

He had a hurry and a half sack against LSU last year. He doubled Tyler Shelvins tackle for loss total on the season. He’s a projected first round pick. Pay better attention I guess

One thing Shelvin is a NT and barmore plays DE. Totally different position and responsibilities. How bout we compare starting NTs and backup DEs? You pick bama's player out of the two.

starting NT
A - 39 tkls - 3 tfl - 0 sks - 2 pbu - 1 qbh
B - 17 tkls - 3 tfl - 1 sks - 0 pbh - 1 qbh

backup DE
A - 26 tkls - 6 tfl - 2 sks - 2 pbu - 5 qbh
B - 46 tkls - 7 tfl - 3 sks - 1 pbu - 4 qbh

Believe those are better comparisons than barmore to Shelvin.

Let me rephrase question about moses. Is he expected back at 100% come beginning of sept?

Would you say battle had his best game of the season VS LSU?

Our defense definitely has some holes. Particularly along the DL And CB is a question mark too

DL- Probably say Akial Byers. Disruptive interior player

LB- Nic Bolton- best LB in the country

CB- I really don’t know. The coaches seem to like Jarvis Ware the best, but maybe it will be a young guy like Ish Burdine or Ennis Rakestraw

S- Tyree Gillespie- 210 lbs and perhaps the fastest guy on the team. NFL level athlete

Are you seriously comparing a true freshman that only played in 8 games (not even on passing downs) to Shelvin?

Comparing a freshman that played in 11 games to a junior that played in 15 games?

Barmore actually played mostly NT last year btw
