Name you school's best returnee at those four position groups.

LSU
DL - T Shelvin (RJr NT). 39 tkls, 3 tfl. He might be best returning interior Dlineman in the SEC

LB - D Clark (Jr) #6 tkl on team. 50 tkls, 4 tfl, 3.5 sks

CB - D Stingley (So) 1st team AP All American as a TrFr. nuff said

S - J Stevens (Sr) #2 tkl on team. 92 tkl, 9 tfl, 5 sks, 1 int, 6 pbu and 2 qbh. He actually had a better stat line than LSU's other safety, Delpit the Thorpe award winner as best DB in college.

Name your team's best.

DL - Dorian Gerald probably. Was likely going to be our best pass rusher last year but missed almost all season with a strained artery in his neck.

LB - Bumper Pool. Also got OU LB Levi Draper who was a big time recruit and should start at MLB. More upside but Pool has started more games.

CB - Arkansas State transfer Jerry Jacobs, was on the Thorpe Award watch list last year before he tore his ACL

S - I guess Joe Foucha by default, but Jalen Catalon is the most talented and could start sooner than later. Redshirted last year even though Chad Morris called him and Vince Young the two best HS players he's ever seen lol

We obviously have a long way to go on defense.

Is moses back to 100%? What's the story on the safety? If barmore is the best Dlineman heading into '20 why didn't he play more last year? bama had some issues along DL. Hardly noticed him VS LSU.

DL - Daryl Middleton - 6’8”, mean as hell, great work in his limited snaps last year and should dominate this year.

LB- Henry To’oto’o - might be the best LB in the conference, only a sophomore

CB - Bryce Thompson - probably a 2nd/3rd rounder if he declares after this season.

S - tough one, probably Jaylen McCullough unless Shamburger gets moved back there this year.

DL - Barmore/Ray
LB - Moses
CB - Surtain
Safety - Battle

I think Christian Harris has a chance to be a superstar and playing next to Harris will make things easier for him.

You think ray's foot injuries are behind him? Didn't he lose time to foot injuries in two different seasons?

DL - tie between Jordan Davis, Malik Herring, and Travon Walker. All 3 are very, very good.

LB - Monty Rice is the veteran stalwart but Nakobe Dean is the next Roquan. OLB is almost a different category with Nolan Smith leading a very deep group

CB - Eric Stokes is probably the best of the bunch

S - Richard Lecounte is the best as of now but I think Lewis Cine is going to be the player to know on defense this year

DL - Jordan Davis 6'6 330, will be a disruptive force if he stays conditioned.

LB - Nakobe Dean (Roquan potential)

CB - Eric Stokes (Proved he's more than just a track star)

S - Richard Lecount SR.

I think he is close to 100 percent! He has been training this off season so hopefully the injuries are a thing of the past
