No. Your comeback was just less than I was anticipating/hoping for.

The thread is about how awful missouri baseball is compounded by being swept by us, maybe manage your expectations.

You're right. In a Missouri/Kansas thread, I should have had much lower expectations.

I’d write a thank you letter for the sweep, but your mailbox is probably stuffed more than you and TriState’s asses with each other.

It’s an embarrassment even if it’s just baseball.

Not sure how to go from here though with how competitive the conference is.

Would the attendance improve at the home games if Missouri was winning?

Depends how good.

Decent? Probably not much. On a huge run, yes.

Winning, like top half of the league winning? Sure, that would bring more people, but to get into the top half of this league requires a commitment/investment that might not be in the cards. We shall see.

The stadium is incredibly small and it seems empty from the looks of things.

Missouri would need to define what "success" looks like. Are you trying to win enough to build a following and expand the stadium? Are you trying to win or compete for the SEC or are you just trying to win enough to justify having the team?

Me too. I thought they had us in our Friday night game. When their reliever (Green, I think) gave up the game winner, he was absolutely gutted, felt sorry for the guy. Would like to see him get a conference save (fwiw).

miznoz/kcm0/truelefty/mcmillan/etc. flaming the board is the height of security.

Persecuting poor missouri though is insecure.

Also, they would be the worst team in SEC history even if they miraculously won out. They're just so fundamentally bad in all facets of the game.

How do you declare that? Missouri wouldn't even be the first winless team in SEC history.

I'd start by looking at previously winless SEC teams. Hard to see how a 6 win SEC team would be worse than winless teams.
