You think a separate "sports talk" board would work?

this board is obviously wrecked beyond repair, but I wonder if a separate sports talk board that was somewhat moderated would work so we could have some actual talk and discussion.

Leave the rant open and let it fester like the terd that it is but have a separate civil board where we could actually talk.

You think this would work?

An SEC Sports Talk?

It would have to be relentlessly moderated, at least at first.

no doubt, but I wonder if it would get enough traction to actually take off.

leave this abortion open, but when you want to actually talk with another SEC Fan you head over to sports talk.

they would have to moderate the shite out of it in the beginning to keep the clowns here.

If moderation existed

And not like the moderation here that fluctuates on which LSU fan has his feelings hurt

No offense

Nah. Chicken just fricked up opening up tRant so quickly, should have left the scoreboard open for another 48 hours.

And Lew doesn't frick with LSU shitposters because he fears Chicken.

This board would be fine except for a few posters who start threads to troll. Honestly this board would be fine if more closely moderated.

for instance during Bama week I wanted to actually talk about the game without any thread becoming a shite show but that was impossible.

I dont have access to the Bama board so I was stuck here and any thread was fricked by page 2.

would of loved to have an actual conversation with Bama fans during the week of the game without a fuggin "THE REFSSSSS THOOOOOOOO" shitting up the thread.

Those threads eventually dissolved into Bama hasn’t played anybody and we comin. Bama can’t lose. Then we had two weeks of bumps and Bama fans piling on and a few decent LSU posters who don’t get involved getting their feelings hurt and complaining about the Bama fans. It’s a cycle.

That's what this board was created for and was for several years.

We don't need another board, we need to eliminate the trolls that are trashing up this one.

I'd never before checked it out till now, but the "More Sports" forum appears to be kind of a real discussion board.

It is, but if the same immaturity moves to that board, it will be the same as this.

the problem is no moderation which is kind of a staple for tigerdroppings in general.

it's the exact opposite of tidefans.

Well you don’t want it to be not fun. Some of the stuff is witty and in good humor but there a few that the only discussion they have is to troll. The other board would turn out the same way if the posters are allowed to continue.
