Dont understand how you guys don't see how the events have unfolded.

With Cecil admitting this tonight, there would be no way AU would let him play tomorrow if they haven't already got the green light from the NCAA.

Flame, cant wait to bump thread

I can't even convince them Mississippi State is the school in trouble and not Auburn even though that's the only conclusion one could draw from the facts available.

It's laughable. And the idiots here are making the same mistake as ESPN: "It's Auburn. They cheated before (even though most people can only remember one instance), therefore they must have cheated again if they have Cam Newton."

One can tell logic wasn't exactly a top subject for this crowd, for whom critical thinking is too tough. It seems they can't possibly fathom a world in which ESPN is wrong.

Psssssstttt, ESPN was wrong.

"You really think the NCAA will rule that the man's father is not someone who would qualify as a representative ? Really?"

I don't care who it is,your father, mother ,sister uncle....it doesn't matter,If you didn't know they were even doing it just how can they be doing it as your representative....You can't represent me if i don't even know what your asking for!!!! gezz why is that so hard to understand? And on top of that they all say no extra benefits were exchanged. They All say that!!!! State,Auburn,Newtons

WTF is "It"?

What if NCAA deems Cam isnt responsible for his dad's actions.

We won't hear about it for several more weeks/months either way.

You guys seem not to know, but AU has been working with the NCAA on this issue for almost 6 months now.

Let's pretend this bit of foolishness is actually true. If all it took was Cecil coming clean to clear everything why didn't he just do it 6 months ago?

athletes eligibility is immediately in question.

Yes...the Eligibility is in question, but not necessarily revoked; -unless there's EVIDENCE the athlete had knowledge.
By many postings on TD, anybody that's remotely associated with Cam can ask for money without Cam's knowledge and that would rule him ineligible.
Dream on, But when you wake up in the morning, Cam will be running all over the field!

Didn't Cam say he left the decision on where he'd go up to his father? If so, doesn't that constitute representation?

Holy frick Auburn fans might be the saddest collection of mouthbreathing dipshits in the entire country.

Actually it is crystal clear what they are looking into right now is Newton's eligibility. It is in question due to Cecil Newton asking for money from MSU. MSU reported it to the NCAA so they are looking into their story.

IF Auburn is lucky it will stop there.

State is not in trouble and they are not the subject of the investigation. The only thing they are in trouble for is bypassing the slimy pissant Slive and going straight to the NCAA.

This is beyond stupid.

Do you think all those babies in the Gerber ads knew what money their parents were making "on their behalf?"

Do you think the ppl stuck in New Orleans during Katrina knew I was collecting care packages "on their behalf?"

Just because they didnt know at the time, doesnt mean there wasnt an intended benefit down the line. Stuck on stupid?

"Explain "The money is too much" then"

Why would you believe that so blindly but can't see anything else as true......

Did Cam say he said that? Who said he did? Is that all that was said? I haven't heard that conversation, have you...Sorry

So... Let me get this straight... It's MSU's fault for reporting that Cecil wanted money in Cam's recruitment? That's going to get them in trouble how? You have absolutely NO idea what you're talking about.
