You can win the SEC with bats, but Omaha requires arms

Georgia had a great season, but Omaha remains a pitcher's ballpark.
And 85% of Oklahoma's pitching has been freshmen. Go take the natty, Sooners!

We used 4 pitchers total in our first 3 games there, giving up a total of 4 runs. Our first 3 games our starting pitchers (our normal starting rotation) was absolutely positively lights out.
We didn't lose because of our pitching. The exact opposite, actually.

UGA's issues were more with their bats than anything
averaged 4 runs over 4 CWS games, just 5 home runs; 4/5 HRs were just solo shots
Omaha was certainly not Foley field for them

We couldn't even HIT the ball in omaha. That has nothing to do with the size of the ballpark. Look at our 1-9 guy's BAs all year then what they did this past week. That has less than nothing to do with the size of the field, so not sure what foley has to do with it.

Every team’s bats go cold at some point during the season. You just hope it doesn’t happen during the postseason
