I get that. That probably sucked really bad.
I wouldn't be as pissed if he weren't potentially going immediately to one of the THREE teams that we will play literally every year. 128 teams.. it happens to be one of the 3.

I've been exaggerating most of this, but it is more of the situation.
Best season in school history and the coach leaves before the post season?
I mean, that is discouraging, to say the least.

That happens a lot.
Tulane is in a playoff run and Ole Miss is trying to steal their coach.

Is Tulane offering the same money? Is Tulane in the premier CFB conference? Are we Tulane's rival that they play every year? Should Tulane actually be in the playoffs at all?

Has he interviewed? He refused to do it with Florida and LSU. Time will tell when Lane takes the Florida job. Why would he take the job for LSU who is using lawyers to back out of their contract with Kelly? They don’t honor their word. What great sin did you people invent to screw him?

This is my favorite part about this board.
You people invent these scenarios in your minds about LSU being some terrible place with no money and then you're shocked when your wishcasting doesn't come true.

Has he signed your contract? Florida was certain. How many "done deal" claims did we have. They had guys in our press box talking about terms were agreed upon. So what exactly are you basing that he is for sure going to pick LSU on?

Where did I say he was going to pick LSU?

That is not inventing. LSU has now claimed “with clause” on his firing not to pay the buyout. Are you not keeping up? The Governor bitched and moaned about the buyout now they are making claims to get out of their contract with Kelly. This is a fact. The only inventing is what these overpaid lawyer trash will invent to get LSU out of honoring the contract they signed.
Texas A&M bought into a horrible buyout. But at least they had the money to honor their word and the contract. Wonder which LSU graduate judge settles this? And I wonder if any coach can trust a school that weasels their way out of their promises. No matter who that might be this isn’t a good look

Who reported that they fired him "with cause"?

That was always political grandstanding. Just another narrative this board built.
Muh the governor will destroy the coaching search. No one will go there.

Maybe to you, I don't know that coaching candidates are as worried about it as you are.
