I live in Clemson territory so I never really pull for them.
But the reality is Clemson DOES have a high level of talent on their roster. They are just one spot behind Texas on the 247 talent composite.
So I recognize that Clemson is a threat that a team like SMU or Indiana would not be. Simply because they have the 5th most talent in the country while SMU is 25th and Indiana is 57th.
I'm not rooting for them. But I recognize they are definitely more capable of beating Texas than some of the other potential matchups Texas could have drawn for the first round.
