I'm not sure how that computes but I have lived it myself. I have been *for* A&M in a game but it stops short of "pulling" for A&M. However that works.

The SEC is by far the strongest conference and has been for the majority of the past 20 years.
If you want to confuse people stating those facts with actively cheering for the teams to win just because they are in the same conference, that's your issue.
Some SEC teams I will hope win, some SEC teams I will hope lose, some I don't give a shite.
I don't really care who wins between Texas and Clemson. It's a game between a 2 loss team that hasn't beaten any top25 teams, and a team with 3 losses whose only ranked win was a team that itself had 0 top25 wins.
Whoever wins is probably still a pretender.
