yes if youre a college football fan you will care. It will be much better than some flaky arse school like Florida playing some no name. Like they do every year.

21-10 LSU

Texas will lead at half then grinded down. Don't see their O line holding up late in the game.

Since Texas is obviously better than aggy.

Does this mean LSU is going to kick your arse as well.

Hard to follow your comments. Are you a horn or a corndog? I'm guessing corndog.

I'm not sure how y'all have forgotten or possibly never realized, just how fricking dumb Coach O is.

Texas is beating LSU.

As long as LSU doesn't come out with their heads up their asses all the way to their tonsils like Georgia did I think they will win. Probably by more than one score.

That Texas QB is pretty good but I think LSU has the better overall team.

That’s fair. Our offense should be fine. Lost quite a few players on defense- secondary should be good (and deep) but the front seven are gonna have to start playing sound D quickly to stop LSU’s attack.
I expect a close game but think we win at home. Not by much.

LSUs D is going to be nasty and the rushing attack will be much better this year.Of course it’s all just opinion at this point but the Tigers are poised to make a good run.

Like that has any bearing on the game this year.

Anyways i think the game in Austin helps but i think they get us this year. Maybe 31 26??

If LSU defense is close to advertised it is going to be a long day for texass. Not sure LSU has enough offense to put up big numbers but I can see a 10 -14 win. Also... Texass loves to shite the bed early in the season.

As in losing to La Tech in the first game -- which I am more worried about than against LSU.

Of course LSU can beat Texas. Bout a 40% chance they do.

Charles, quit being a flame throwing douche bag and actually talk Xs and Os.

That’s right, you can’t. You have a lower football IQ than then they guy with three fingers selling fireworks right now.

I think tu will be a little thin with returning starters this year. And they aren’t very deep up front on either side. With that being said, they have speed and the home field advantage. And Herman gets them up for big games. tu needs to strike early and quick, and play from ahead if they can.

LSU, on the other hand, must win this game. O has been a recruiting machine and they are very deep and they will be very physical. LSU can match tu’s speed but they will need to slow the tempo of the game and run the clock. LSU needs to pound the football and wear out the horn D.

I think whenever controls the tempo of this game takes it, but I will be close. Less than 5 point spread.

Interesting how a fanbase who claim that you are irrelevant, continue to bring you up even when you aren't the topic of discussion. When people say that you don't matter, yet they can't stop talking about you, it's very telling.

That is about as solid and well thought an analysis as you are likely to find while still being concise.

I think LSU just wears the Whorns out unless something weird happens.

My concern, for LSU, is that is entirely possible. Say the Bayou Bengals go all in on throwing the ball umpteen billion times and running a ton of RPOs the entire game as part of Coach O's plan to update the offense.

That is the exact offense that Texas is built to stop, or at least slow, because its the only offense they see in the Big 12. If Burrows has a bad game or the WRs drop some balls then Texas can hang around until late in the game and have a chance to pull out a win.

Oh, I don’t think they are irrelevant. They have had an excellent athletic department for eons.

And for the record, I was one that wanted us to keep playing tu annually, OOC, on Thanksgiving the way Florida and FSU, etc. do. The split didn’t go down that way, and that’s that.

With that being said, I’ve always wanted us to go to the SEC and it was one of the best things that ever happened to TAMU. Hopefully, the move will eventually help TAMU raise the bar to achieve the standard of excellence and achievement that we aspire.
