Any team that would draft Aaron Murray in the top 10, that's just embarrassing for them

2011 Draft-
Jake Locker 8
Blaine Gabbert 10
Christian Ponder 12

I think Mett will probably go in the second to the Pats (perfect place to be groomed and play).

Boyd will probably go to the Cards with Bridgewater to Jacksonville/Browns. Houston would probably jump at Carr, Murray, or Mett too.

No offense to UGA fans, but there's no way Murray goes 9th overall.

Agree. Murray is a solid college QB but honestly I don't see him a pro material much less in the 1st round. Aaron is a great guy and excellent student of the game but at 6ft with limited mobility and a decent but not nearly as strong of an arm as say Matt Stafford, I just don't see him being another Drew Brees.

I remember last offseason when everyone said Manziel wouldn't do anything this year because SEC coaches had a "year of tape" on him, look at what he's done so far, now you've got to change your tune to "he won't succeed in the NFL", keep doubting him and he'll continue to prove you wrong year after year

I think Mett being bigger than AJ and having a stronger arm makes him a much better pro prospect. He's almost as big and as strong-armed as Jamarcus was. Case closed as far as I'm concerned.

Mett is big and has a strong arm but he isn't Jamarcus big(265 lbs) and he doesn't have Jamarcus' arm. JR has a once in a generation arm. Flick his wrist and throw it 60 yards. During pregame once JR was on one knee and at the 50 yard line and was throwing the ball through the up rights.

AJ won a National title as a first year starter.

No he didn't. Alabama won a national title. In 2011 AJ was the weak link on your offense.

Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray

Heard Greg Cosell of NFL Films interviewed a couple of weeks ago and he questions if Murray has an NFL arm.

Nothing went over my head. Jamarcus is one of the most physically gifted qbs to ever live. He didn't fail in Oakland because of his talent. A combination of things happened.
1. Oakland is a horrible franchise. In more than a few drafts they picked their rookies by a great 40 time( Haywood Bay ).
2. His oline was atrocious. At one point they had a 285 lbs left tackle.
3. The biggest reason JR failed.
From the time he was drafted until the end of his second year, he had lost 11 friends and family( his 3 closest family members)

I think having a team psychologist is gonna really help Murray if they get that kid to stay out of his head he is gonna be a great one.

Why? They draft a QB every year. They have Vick and Arizona dude.

Vick is hurt half of every season and will be 34 next season.

Foles isnt the type of QB for Chip Kelly's offense either.

He was a drug addict and didnt want to put in the work required in the NFL. That's why he failed the most.

My apologies to you Ricky. Mett obviously proved how much better than AJ he is yesterday. It takes a special QB to go into Oxford, throw 3 picks, take idiotic sacks all day, and lose to the Bears. LOL at this top 10 draft pick.
