FWIW
I believe PP7. And he also came out denying any wrong doing without waiting. I believe, if anything, Lyles acted alone and without PP7's consent. Why? I have absolutely no idea, it makes zero sense.
ETA: What I mean is that asking for money when you can't deliver makes zero sense, hence I question whether or not Lyles ever asked anyone for money in regard to PP7.

Where did y'all hear that Robinson was investigating? Is there an article on it?

It warms my heart to see other fanbases get a real look at what the barners are really like.

Not to my knowledge. But I don't care if he is. I wouldn't care if Sherlock Holmes was handling the investigation for the NCAA, assisted by mind-reading midgets with Auburn tatoos.
Why? Because the allegation that LSU paid for a recruit are completely out of character with who we are as a football program. Both now and all-time.
I've bragged before about how clean LSU is as a football program, and I know it's rubbed some people the wrong way.
But that's on them, not on me. No one forced them to root for a program that's an habitual cheater.
I'm absolutely, 100% positive that LSU's name will be cleared and that not a single penalty will be leveled at the LSU football program.
See my sig. I stand by that.

Holy shite, I agree. Twitter is more confusing to read than anything else.

PP7 claims he has NEVER visited TAMU even though there are published reports saying he did, including quotes from him
Posted on 3/31/11 at 8:43 pm to CFBFAN1121
Wrong. He said he never went on an OFFICIAL visit to TAMU.

Correct. It was unofficial.

What would be significance of him saying he never went on an 'official' visit. Did he say that after he told this ESPN reporter?
FWIW, I'm just going by what I've read, learned a long time ago, just because it's on the net, doesn't make it true.
..Thursday, 104.5 ESPN reporter Jordy Culotta received a text message from Peterson after offering a forum to discuss the allegations. Peterson’s text response read, “No I’m good. Cause that’s all it is yu know, but thanks any way.” Shortly after receiving the text, Culotta spoke to Peterson who said the report was, “All baloney.”
In fact, Peterson told Culotta twice that he never even visit[ed] the school in College Station, Texas. That would seem to contradict an ESPN report in which Kelly Naqi cites Peterson’s father, Patrick Peterson Sr. as describing his son’s visit to A&M as “a good trip.”
“Why would I jeopardize my future over going to Texas A&M and $80,000 when I knew that my future was playing football,” Peterson told Culotta.

It is funny how everything thinks the same thing about their team. NCAA athletics is dirty. College recruiting is dirty. None of the programs are clean. Some cheat worse than others. Some get made an example of. It is how business is done and then the NCAA pretends it doesn't happen and talks about how amateurism and academics being the most important thing. The system is corrupt.

I'm 100% positive some of the players at Bama are getting paid money from boosters. Our system is cleaner than it used to be but you can't control rich people and cash transactions.

Auburn fans want this to be true so bad. It's quite funny.

LSU football can afford to say they're clean though.. our record proves it. Well.. we're clean on paper at least
Cash handshakes aren't a big deal and it would be absolutely ridiculous to see a school get hammered over it. It happens everywhere.. hell, I bet it happens at smaller schools like UNA, etc. If it happens in highschool you can bet your arse it happens everywhere.
