No, but the four players who did say they were getting paid had a lot to do with that.
That and Auburn's general reputation for doing underhanded things, going back decades.
LSU is nothing like Auburn and never was. We've been penalized a fraction of the amount Auburn has.
Twice in our history. That's a good day at Auburn.
One of those penalties involved a coach buying a recruit a cheeseburger. Although we got nothing but a slap on the wrist...a one year probation with no penalties...that was the first penalty in 93 years of LSU football.
A cheeseburger. It kind of makes allegations that we'd pay recruits look very, very silly.

Your team has a history of cheating. A VERY VERY BAD and RECENT history.
So much so, it got a coach practically banned for life.

Idk... I have stayed out of it.
My guess is the coaches are trying to contact former Defensive coaches that dealt with his recruitment. It's very serious though. Now with Robinson on our arse I don't feel too good.

No, just make sure you maintain form. You might get a little more tired, but 3 days rest should be plenty

he is not involved. If you read it, it said Perroni from TAMU wrote this and he said on twitter that "he confirmed" at the time that Lyles was his dad's friend.
Here is what PP7 said about that BS.
Statement from Patrick Peterson on Willie Lyles. “I have never had any type of relationship with Willie Lyles and he had no influence on my decision to attend LSU, or any other school for that matter. He had no involvement with my recruiting process and I resent the fact that my name has come up in these allegations. I chose LSU because it’s a great school with a great football program. I never received nor was I offered anything to go to LSU and anyone saying otherwise is being dishonest.”
