I think any kind of qb would work as long as you have a coach that plays his strengths or even better protects his weakness.

That doesn't say much about being the greatest team. It just says you played a slightly tougher schedule.
Fact. How you played against the teams is what matters. Playing a tougher SoS does give you a chance to prove more, but you need to win your games in dominating fashion if you want to be considered the greatest ever. LSU did not.

You can disagree, but as an Alabama fan, I would rather play 2019 LSU instead of 2018 Clemson and it's not even remotely a contest. That team also went 15-0 and beat a much better Alabama team in dominating fashion. The only time since 2018 where I watched the game and thought - so this is what the other side is like. 28 point victory, matching LSU's biggest ever margin of victory against Alabama in your entire history, happening in 1957 when you beat a 2 win Alabama team by 28.
Sure as shite didn't feel dominated when we played LSU, and that wasn't even as good an Alabama team as the previous year.
The LSU game felt closer to the Ole Miss 5 fumble totally going to frick everything up early in the game and coming up short in the end than it did getting dominated by Clemson.
