He is being brought in to replace Vic Ballard who had a season ending injury. SEC running backs repin' the conference.

Good for TR. He was stuck with an awful team, without a quality quarterback, without a quality offensive line, and going nowhere fast.

Now he is a good young player, with other good young players - on a team going places.

I heard injuries were one concern, and within the reasoning, behind the move.

Those injuries will derail a career faster than most think (I would know, I'm an Auburn fan). Ronnie Brown and Carnell Williams both saw some extended success while healthy, and fell into mediocrity after numerous injuries. Kenny Irons' career was over before it even started, as he tore his ACL in the second preseason game of his rookie season.

Yeah, trading for a 1st round pick. :scrub:

Good pickup for the Colts.

To all those defending Ingram:

I don't want to hear the bs about him needing a certain amount of carries or how we pass too much.

Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas BOTH average more yards per carry than he does.

Same team. Same line.

He was VERY overrated. Still is even now. There's a reason we haven't traded him. No one will take him!

There are certainly enough posts in here about Ingram to warrant a response in regards to his play. Read through the whole thread.

And calling me a coonass is probably as inaccurate a description or slight possible. But hey, nice generalization, hick.

There will be many more "Breaking News" threads related to Alabama in the coming months. Others will create more "WOW" moments.

Give him a few weeks to pick up the offense and Trent Richardson is going to start tearing it up.

Also I'd have much less ire about Ingram if he could pass black worth a damn.

Maybe the Saints could get a 6 pack of beer and a couple of Cuban cigars for him.

Four pack more likely. Heard one team even offered a Water Boy and an undrafted punter. Seems like we would be stealing.

I thought we got another great RB with Ingram. Now it's Fragile Mark. These dudes just can't stay healthy so you can't depend on them to be there when it counts.

Need to get one of the memes going with him on the sideline like D. Rose on the bench in front of the arena.

Don't blame Trent.
