You got Memphis IN Memphis. You got Ole Miss an hour away...You got the state of Arkansas across the river... and you got U of Tennessee way the hell across the state. Then another SEC in Vandy for what they are worth. Then throw in Mississippi State and Arkansas State due to reasonable proximity... and the ubiquitous Alabama T-shirt fans that are everywhere now...
That is a helluva mix there in the Memphis area. And I didn't even mention that there are probably a lot of fans of HBCU teams in Memphis as well.

We have lost 13 SEC games in a row. That leads to a lack of season ticket sales on the visitor side which leads to a lot of single ticket sales for games. Kudos to UT for traveling well, but this will be a thing until we start seeing some consistent winning play.
