Elander makes sense, but I'd be very surprised if Frank Anderson leaves TN without Vitello as his HC though.
Tony had a post game interview in the past couple weeks where he basically said that it's been worked out with the powers at be at TN that Frank would be ending his career at UTK.
But also, coaches are liars.

There are other good pitching coaches out there, I just thought it made sense because he had worked in Austin before.. the biggest hurdle would be his Elander's age and expectations in really big shoes.. and someone to help ease him into that role would be beneficial..
That being said, idk that we go this route since he doesn't have HC experience.. but perhaps we could give him a nice raise and hire him as an assistant coach for a few years.. I like the idea of making a run at him now though.. he sounds like he could be a good one..

I think "not pierce" is a huge selling point for most out there...but I'm open-minded. No matter who he hires I'm willing to keep an open mind...something I didn't do with the Sark hire and it bit me big time.
