Not no, but hell NOOO!!! It's one thing to be a bad HC, but he at least should have had very good defenses at Auburn. Tubs ran the defense when Gene was the DC at Auburn and Texas had Vince Young(ala Cam) the year he was at Texas. It wasn't his great defense that won that championship considering the score was 41-38, it was Vince Young putting the team on his shoulders.

If Gene Chizik finds himself unemployed at the end of this month, he will be unemployed for a while IMO. I can't see another HC job offer coming his way any time soon.

If I were going to receive $200,000 a month for a while and I knew the next best job I could get might not even double that figure, I'd stay unemployed for a while, too.

At the very least, Chizik should have had a middle ranked defense in the SEC - just something mediocre - not dead arse last.
